Crooks and Castles is by far a stranger to the sneaker world- as proven by its collaboration with the Vans brand. But now, Crooks and Castles is gearing up for its first solo endeavor into the sneaker world. Known first and foremost for its shirts, hoodies, and even fitted caps, Crooks and Castles has applied monotone colorways on an array of low- and mid-top sneaker designs that even include a chukka model. The soles on most of the shoe designs and colorways are completely white, and you can look to your local Crooks and Castles retailers in Spring/Summer 2010 to see if they’ll have you covered for this historical drop.

Crooks & Castles x Vans Fremont Hi Release Update

We haven’t seen or heard anything about the Crooks & Castles x Vans Fremont Hi for months now. Finally, Crooks is releasing the Vans collabo skate shoe at its Melrose store on June 6, 2009. The 8021 Flagship Store is located in sunny Los Angeles, and will showcase this shoe for sale while supplies last. We are speculating that this shoe will sell out like its black predecessor a few months back. This shoe features a white leather upper and green and red accents to go along with the C&C theme. Crooks is etched on the ankle strap in gold stitching to make this shoe a must-cop.

Vans Fremont Hi x Crooks & Castles

The first thing that comes to most people’s minds when they look at the above image is Gucci, but they will be surprised to know that Gucci is not one of the brands collaborating to form this sneaker. This pair of Vans Fremont Hi is a collaboration with the popular apparel designer, Crooks and Castle. We gave you a preview of this sneaker a couple months ago and we now have a detailed picture and a relative release date. Along with the Gucci-esque strap seen on the upper, this pair features a full white upper with hints of perforated leather and cement print embossed leather. This sneaker has an overall clean look that represents the best of both brands, Vans and Crooks and Castles. Expect these to drop in Spring 2009 at the Melrose Ave. flagship store.

Crooks Castles x Vans Preview

Seen at this past Magic event that took place earlier this week in Las Vegas, two new shots of the Crooks & Castles and Vans collaboration is seen. Continuing with the Gucci theme, these two Vans models also consist of a variety of materials including patent and perforated leather to accompany a two-toned mid-sole and Gucci-esque strap. However, a more cleaner white pair was also featured at Magic, but uses less of a Gucci look and more of contemporary look. Via Caliroots
