Japanese brand Number (N)ine collaborates with the Converse displaying a simple model that consists of a knitted upper along with black accents on the toe and in-sole. The Converse 1HUNDR(RED) campaign extends through the year and has called on Dutch brand Wood Wood to collaboration on the latest Chuck Taylor. Having a monochromatic feel to it, the sneakers are made up of gray canvas, suede, 1HUND(RED) red eyelets, and custom tagging. Furthermore, other details include the Wood Wood star map patter lining the inside of the sneaker as well as branding on the tongue. Release is scheduled for October 1st, 2008 at a select accounts. With Converse launching a series of sneakers to commemorate their 100 years in the business, they have also been busy with other lines and project including the Mocomoco Pack, which consists of two All Star Hi’s. Each style consist of a plush upper upper available in black and wheat suede, reminiscent of teddy bears. Furthermore, each also features an accenting lacing area and converse logo at the side. The 70’s One Star Mid is available in two color-ways, black and brown, with both consisting of full leather uppers. This year marks Converse’s 100th anniversary, they continue to honor their centennial with a collection of sneakers in various forms. Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen Converse release sneakers using the classic silhouette of the Chuck Taylor with an emphasis on materials. Conceptualized using an Air Force MA-1 flight jacket, the Poorman’s Weapon is the base of the latest collaboration involving Undefeated and Converse. Consisting of removable Velcro patches, the collab sneaker also features black nylon flight satin and a bright orange canvas interior to give it that ultimate fighter pilot look. Aside from the pilot theme, other highlights include a Chuck Taylor outer sole with an original Weapon upper with waxes laces.
