After taking a look at some of what the Spring 2012 Converse Skateboarding collection consists of, we take a look at what the regular line has up its sleeves. The upcoming Spring 2012 Converse offerings include such classics as the All Star and Jack Purcell. Rugged colorways include a “smog” motif, black/yellow and even blue/khaki. After joining forces with Beauty & Youth on two pairs of Jack Purcell lows, Converse Japan is back at it again- this time, on its lonesome. The customary white rubberized sole is present, but the upper comes in an eye-catching, faded colorway with a checkered pattern. One colorway comes in a red base, while a second drops in blue. February of this year is when Converse Japan retailers are expected to receive their shipments of this newest Jack Purcell rendition.

According to the Chinese zodiac, 2012 marks the “Year of the Dragon” and Converse is set to ring in the new year in style.

This “Year of the Dragon” Jack Purcell features the classic white rubber sole and toe cap of the original, this time with a red toe cap stripe.  However, the kicks ditch the simple tonal canvas upper of the original in favor of a scaly navy leather upper.

This reptilian offering is available now via select Asian Converse retailers.

Converse stays true to the theme this season and takes us on a trip outdoors with their Converse All Star & Jack Purcell ‘Hunter Camo’ Pack.

The new pack consists of the classic All Star and Jack Purcell Low silhouettes which both feature a tough Ripstop upper that displays its unique all-over duck hunter print pattern, white contrast stitching, and black leather paneling on the back heel and Converse logo as seen on the All Star.

Converse and mastermind JAPAN are teaming up once again this Fall for a special release.

The collaboration features the classic Jack Purcell, this time in the form of a mid and done in matte black canvas.  Like their past work on the Chuck Taylor, the shoe sports a leather ankle pad and side zipper.  Additionally, “MASTERMIND” and “LOVE&PEACE” are found in white, drawing attention to the signature Jack Purcell toecap.  Finally, the mastermind JAPAN skull and crossbones logo appears on the heel.

This unique collaboration is set to drop on December 1 via the mastermind online store.

Converse has just released a new version of the Jack Purcell. The Converse Jack Purcell Plaid ‘Vintage’ sports a very premium rugged textile plaid upper with its classic rubber toe cap.

The navy Jack Purcell Plaid canvas sneaker is now available at select Converse retailers and online at Converse.

Hurley and Converse team up for a special collaboration in conjunction with Hurley’s launch of the ‘Rick Griffin’ collection.

This special collaboration features the Hurley x Jack Purcell, which also features the iconic artwork of the California artist. The Converse Jack Purcell is grouped with a selection of special tees for the occasion.

These joints are due to launch at Mollusk Surf Shops in Brooklyn, Venice and San Francisco next month. A special release party will be held on November 10th at Mollusk in Venice. Don’t Sleep!
