Unveiled in November, the Gorillaz x Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star Hi is now rolling out to retailers.

Retaining the classic white ribber toe cap, midsole and red and black foxing stripes of the original, this pairs of Chucks rocks a unique camouflage upper and artistic inner lining designed by the Gorillaz themselves.

One of the coolest looking Chucks to drop in a long time, this collab is available now for $60 at Mr. R Sports.

Converse adds a fresh new look to the classic Chuck Taylor All Star model with its latest Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Dual Collar.

This latest release comes in a Phaeton Grey colorway and consists of a soft nubuck upper with a black padded dual collar for extra support. Now available for purchase at a retail price of $70 USD now online at Converse.

Virtual band and English music group, Gorillaz are gearing up for the release of their 10th anniversary retrospective album, “Singles Collection: 2001-2011″, set to release on November 28th, 2011, and to commemorate their achievements the group has teamed up with Converse to create the Gorillaz x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star.

Designed by the group’s co-creator and illustrator Jamie Hewlett, a collection of four original designs will become available including a military camouflage All Star that takes inspiration from their self-titled debut album cover. Each shoe from the collection will also come with a Gorillaz altered heel tab and custom hangtag.

And just when you thought that was it, the Gorillaz also apart of Converse’s “Three Artists. One Song” music campaign, will host a Gorillaz Sound System event at the legendary 100 Club in London, England which will welcome fans to “a unique audio-visual experience, featuring music, live percussion and special projections” including 2D visuals of the group. Get ready for something truly special as the Gorillaz x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star collection will be revealed and release worldwide this February 2012 at select retail stores and online for $60 USD.

For Spring 2012, Converse will bring us their Chuck Taylor All Star Premium Denim Pack, a mix of classic All Stars that feature various washes of premium denim with an accenting leather patch on each hi-top model. While the entire Premium Denim Pack looks to be a wonderful addition to anyone’s collection, we’ll leave it up to you to decide on whether the hi-top or low-top model best suits you.
