Converse continues to unveil 2012 heat at a speedy rate. After having just peeked at some faded Jack Purcell creations, we go back to the Converse “anchor-” the All Star hi. Pictured here is said silhouette in a sailor motif that fills the upper with anchor emblems. One pair uses a white canvas upper that is filled out in an array of different colored anchors; while a second pair uses a blue base that’s filled out in only white anchors. Golden eyelets lend an added touch and February is the tentative release date. Are there any sailing buffs out there particularly excited to see this theme executed?

Like the upcoming Chuck Taylor All-Star Hi, One Star Classic 74, and Jack Purcell, these pay tribute to Chinese zodiac for 2012.  As a departure from the other sneakers, these feature an all-over dragon print upper, influenced by ancient porcelain dragon artworks and dragon tattoos.  Both pairs seen here feature black laces, white foxing, and a red outsole.

Today we bring you a look at yet another pair of “Year Of The Dragon” kicks, courtesy of Converse.

Joining the One Star Classic 74 and Jack Purcell is this Chuck Taylor All-Star Hi.  With a premium tumbled leather upper and white vulcanized sole, these Chucks feature a dragon outline printed on the upper alongside red rope laces, red lining, and a detailed dragon head eyelet near the collar.

Like the rest of the collection, these will be available soon at select Converse retailers.

Japanese menswear brand Bedwin has teamed up with Converse for the Fall/Winter 2011 season to release the Bedwin & The Heartbreakers x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi “Tom“, a collaborative sneaker between the two retailers.

Bedwin & the Heartbreakers adds their twist to the classic American silhouette with a premium black suede upper, a contrasting red logo tag on the heel, and an added zipper on the sidepanel for a stylish finish.
