Etnies is changing things up with its Etnies Plus line, which features a collaboration with LA-based clothing brand Freshjive. The result is the Freshjive x Etnies Junior Plus, in two black colorways. Although both shoes look similar to the distant eye, one is actually a canvas upper and the other a leather upper. A white midsole follows the canvas shoe while an off-white midsole follows the other. “Freshjive” makes its mark on the tongue tag in yellow on these Chukka-like shoes, with the “Etnies” name on the bottom of the sole. These will be available at Reserve in LA and other FJ retailers.

After seeing Solebox’s latest collabo with PUMA, creative mind of Solebox, Hikmet Sugoer, does it again with the Solebox x Vans Old Skool in a black/white houndstooth print. This Old Skool is perhaps one of Solebox’s greatest creations, from the pattern to the material. The shoe features a nice houndstooth pattern on the upper which uses the same material found on the houndstooth checkered scarves popular today. The tongue features a dove which represents the main symbol of peace which is a part of the world’s most prevalent religions. “Solebox” is printed on the insole to let its owners know who to thank. The shoe uses a simple white midsole with red accents and the staple gum sole to finish off this collabo. This is set to release May 2nd and limited to 60 pairs for about $90.

It’s been over a year since we first heard about the Converse (RED) Chuck Taylor High x Lupe Fiasco collaboration, and it’s finally releasing. The upper consists of a solid black, patent leather makeup with the top two eyelets being red to signify the Converse (RED) part of this collabo.
