We’ve seen various versions of the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star these years, and for the season, the Chuck is back in a silhouette made for inclement weather conditions.

The Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star Hi Leather Boot is fit for a more rugged appeal. This model features a high quality full grain leather on the upper, reinforced lace loops and segmented outsole for traction on the outdoors. For extra comfort and utility, the inner sock liner is lined with Thinsulate.

These are available this coming season in brown/tan and black.

Earlier today we gave you guys a better look at the up coming Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Grinch’, and it looks like Nike isnt the only brand doing a Grinch theme. Converse is releasing a Dr. Seuss collection with a total of 8 pairs of chucks , designed with a certain Grinch inspired theme. The classic shoe features graphics from the infamous Christmas flick, featuring characters like Max the dog, Cindy Lou Who and the evil Grinch himself. The collection includes pairs for both men and women, and of course children. These should be available sometime soon at Converse retailers, but you can also check out the Converse website. You can see the whole collection after the jump.

Robert Indiana’s infamous pop art ‘LOVE’ sculpture makes its way onto the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star in this collection of both high and low top models. Originally intended to be the cover for a Christmas card, the iconic nature of the sculpture is amplified by the use of the similarly influential Converse sneaker. A direct collaboration with the artist, his work can be found on the midsole and upper, along with his signature on the tongue/insole. Set to release in the Spring of next year, you can check out some more detailed images of the collaboration effort after the jump.

Converse has teamed up with Patta and Le Le once again for the fifth time in a row to create the Patta x Le Le x Converse 5th Anniversary Pack. The pack consists of a Converse Chuck Taylor All Star and a Converse Pro Leather 76. The former comes in a grey quilted upper with a white midsole and a brown inner lining. The Patta and Le Le logos are stitched on the tongue tags in white to show off their names in style. The Converse Pro Leather 76 features a brown corduroy upper and a white midsole, with a grey inner lining and grey ankle panel which features the two individual logos as found on the Chucks’ tongues. These are set to release in the States in October.

The folks over at the ACE Hotel in New York City recently collaborated with Converse to create a new colorway of the iconic Chuck Taylor High. The colorway for this sneaker is extremely simple, and consists of a tonal olive green upper with a lighter color of stitching. The upper comes in cloth, while the toebox and sole are coated in leather. Unfortunately, the ACE Hotel NYC x Converse Chuck Taylor High is expected to only be available for the hotel staff.

Parra is no new name when it comes to sneaker collaborations. The independent Holland-based artist has teamed up with Vans and Nike multiple times in the past, and we now have a look at his latest collaboration with Converse. To celebrate a BBQ event in Berlin that will take place tomorrow, Converse has called upon Parra for a new colorway of their classic high-top model. This pair features a white upper accented by a blue bratwurst image that has “Simply The Wrust” on it. Unfortunately, the Parra x Converse Chuck Taylor High was only made in limited quantities and will be given away to friends and family at the aforementioned BBQ.

The Converse Chuck Taylor is a classic basketball silhouette which has been re-issued a plethora of times over the course of the past few years. This time around, Converse is releasing the sneaker with two leather ankle straps that definitely give the classic sneaker a modern twist. The first pair of the Chuck Taylor High Strap hosts a simple white on white colorway with black accents on the mid-sole. The second style yields a black base with white and metallic gold accents. The Converse Chuck Taylor High Strap is expected to release in the Fall and Winter of 2009.
