Everyone and their dog has been anticipating the release of the Air Jordan X (10) ‘Chicago’ next year, which has struck inspiration for a this next sneaker:

The Jordan CMFT Viz Air 10 takes the ‘Chicago’ theme and runs with it in a black leather and suede uppers and checkered black/red inner lining.

The Air Jordan 10 Retro Chicago release could be the most hyped up shoe for 2012, and its still 2011. As we see, more pictures of the first time retro’d Bulls Jordan 10 have made it’s way onto the site.

A re-cap for those that missed our original Air Jordan X Chicago 2012 retro post, they are not identical to the 1995 release and Jordan Brand decided to remove the 23 stitched. Below is a list of what has changed:

2012 Air Jordan 10 (X) Chicago Changes

* 2012 Retro: Red and black checkered liner.
* 1995 Original: Solid black liner.

* 2012 Retro: Red Jumpman Logo at the heel.
* 1995 Retro: Black Jumpman Logo at the heel.

* 2012 Retro: Two pairs of laces are shown so far, one with black and very faded white checkered print (rope laces), and black with red vertical print flat laces (shown on our previous post of the 2012 Jordan Chicago 10, and a solid black pair of rope laces).
* 1995 Original: Solid black rope laces.

* 2012 Retro: Inside of the tongue is a vibrant colored tag with the Jumpman logo. The size tag will be placed on the inner lining.
* 1995 Original: The size tag is placed on the inner tongue.

The Air Jordan X 2012 Chicago’s will release January 21st 2012 with a price tag of $160.

Just yesterday we shared that the Air Jordan 10 Chicago will release in 2012. For years, the rumor has circulated the net, but continues to get delayed. Today we have an official picture of the 2012 Air Jordan X (10) Chicago. Still slated to release January 2012, and retail is $150. The pair pictured is a sales sample, and could change. We have heard the liner will have a black and red checkered pattern.

The wait for the Chicago Air Jordan Flight 45 High is over, as House of Hoops locations across the nations have received the quickstrikes today. AKIN in Chicago will be opening its doors tomorrow at 11:00 AM to release the NFW Tennis ball Hypermax in all 3 colorways at retail price of $130. Make sure to show up early for a successful purchase. All three sneakers host a tennis ball inspired felt material on the upper while the swoosh, strap, and sole are all coated in white.

Our PHLI homie Dave Jeff, has sent us pics of the Chicago Lebron VII. Though not much information is given, Dave let us know that there will only be 123 per city. There are a couple cities listed for their own colorway and Dave has made it clear that someone might be going home with a pair of these at the Sneakerpimps show in Philly. The highly anticipated, first-ever Nike Sportswear store in Chicago has finally opened its doors to the public. AKIN celebrated its grand opening on Saturday with raffles, giveaways, performances, live music and a Nike Sportswear Spring 2010 fashion show. AKIN also introduced its own brand and launched several independent brands like Potential Villain, Kiks TYO, Wrong Wroks and Royal Mindset. During the opening, there were several past releases that caught people by surprise. One of the eye-catchers was the World Cup AF1 Pack in full size runs and older patent leather Air Force 1′s that released in April 2006. Not only does AKIN cater to the Nike Head, but they also pay attention to the Jordan Head with box prices for just about every release that has been in demand these past few years. AKIN also carries Converse, Puma, Adidas, Countdown Packs, limited Quickstrikes, and other heat you may have missed - all for retail. They most likely will have your size, but call and check first.
