Vans have consistently been designing the hottest and most unique sneakers as of late, and this pack yields no exception. Vans have called upon anything they can think of including stripes, snakeskin, Nike Dunks, and their obsession with a check pattern for inspiration. With this pack, the popular California sneaker brand has employed a fairly simple colorway onto three pairs of the Vans Authentic. The three pairs feature tonal uppers composed of colors including green, blue, and orange. All three color schemes come with a white midsole and a mini check pattern on the inner lining. These are now available at select Vans retailers including DQM.

The one pattern that is unique to the Vans sneaker brand is definitely the check pattern which was first introduced years ago. Though the check pattern has been featured on multiple sneakers before, this is the first time it completely covers the Vans SK8 High. There are two colorways of this checked Sk8 High which include the black and white pair seen above and another blue and pink pair which can be seen after the jump. Vans has gone all out on this sneaker and has even included checkered laces to better get across their obsession of the check pattern. These are now available at Deepinsideinc.

Nike’s newest focus as of late is their ACG line which provides sneakers that can be utilized to their maximum in any environment or under any weather condition. The Newest ACG inspired models we are seeing are part of a Nike “Check Pack” that uses a checkered pattern on the sneaker. This Nike Air Wildwood Premium features a plethora of materials including a leather upper, a suede toebox, and a rubber sole. The pattern that is the inspiration behind this pack can be found on the midsole of this sneaker in the form of a pink and grey checkered pattern. Bright blue accents can also be found on this pair on the top lace hole and near the front of the sneaker. These are now available at select Nike Sportswear retailers including Mita.
