Eminem may in fact have one of the most exclusive line of hip-hop inspired sneakers to date. As they’ve all sold out in a matter of minutes and have only ever released in extremely limited quantities, he and Shady Records have been very privileged to have had their fair share of collaborations with such brands as Nike, Jordan and Converse. Having produced iconic models like the Air Jordan 4 (IV) Retro – ‘Encore’ and the Air Jordan 2 (II) – ‘The Way I Am’, Eminem already proves his passion and love for sneakers.

Dj Greg Street recently had an in-store event with the Trill OG, Bun B and the rapper was blessed with a gift that most collectors would love to recieve. Bun B was presented with a DS pair of OG Air Jordan VII ‘Cardinal’. Now Bun B was recently interviewed and was asked about his top OG Air Jordan wish list and even thought ‘Cardinals’ wasnt part of his list, I doubt Bun was complaining. This past tuesday rappers Wale and J.Cole both attended the BET Rising Star concert in New York, and were caught rocking some Air Jordan retros. J.Cole was caught rocking the Air Jordan retro VII ‘Olympic’, and Wale was rocking the Air Jordan retro III ‘True Blue’ that dropped as a international release last year. Celebrities and sneakers always mix, because money and sneakers always mix. That’s why it’s no surprise that Drizzy Drake surfaced a picture of himself for us to envy. The Canadian rapper has got himself a pair of Air Jordan VIII Sugar Ray Player Exclusives. These were very hard to get, as a very limited run was produced. No doubt that Drake dropped a lot of dough to get these, or it could be that his celeb status got him some free heat. Whatever the case, Drake has the Air Jordan VIIIs in the black/stealth-clover colorway, and a piece of Ray Allen history.
