Wale hit the stage a few days ago at Morgan State University’s Homecoming concert, but, more importantly, he graced the crowd alongside his MMG partner Meek Mill rocking the Nike Air Mag! This shouldn’t come as any surprise though as the DMV area artist has always maintained his poise and passion for the sneaker game.

Wale now joins the likes of Kid Cudi and San Fransisco Giants’ Brian Wilson as the few to have worn the Air Mag out. How many pairs do you think Wale has? The 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards haven’t quite aired yet, however we’ve kept a close eye on the heat that’s surfaced so far. Pharrell Williams turned up at Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin last weekend to present his newest artistic creation, the Tank Chair. Made from Plexiglass, the chair has a base that resembles the all-terrain wheels of a tank. Pharrell wore blue flannel, a red Ralph Lauren POLO vest, denim, and Danny Kass Nike Snowboard Boots to the event. Too much color, or are you feeling the boots as a fashion statement?

Well it’s no surprise when we see a celebrity rocking a pair of the newly released 2009 Space Jam Air Jordan XIs. While on the set of rapper Shawty Lo’s music video shoot for his single, “Atlanta, GA,” which features Dream and Ludacris, The Dream thought it would fit nicely to have the Jams along with his black ATL fitted and jacket. Now we know for sure that the Space Jams will be immortalized in Shawty Lo’s video, as if it weren’t already immortalized in our hearts. Hong Kong film superstar and co-founder of Hong Kong-based clothing heads CLOT, Edison Chen, has always been a neck breaker in the Far East. At the Juice Shanghai Grand Opening Party, Mr. Chen is spotted decked out in a full CLOT outfit, along with a fresh pair of white cement Air Jordan Force Fusion IVs. The shoes are definitely heads or tails, but it’s a nice touch to the man’s outfit. Edison Chen makes it clear that anyone is able to rock jays no matter where you’re from.

As you may know, December 1st was World AIDS Day, a day dedicated to spreading AIDS/HIV awareness and its continuing problem in Africa. Nike was recruited by (RED) to make the (NIKE) RED laces, placing them on Nike-sponsored premier athletes. To do his part in spreading awareness, the Black Mamba rocked the red laces on a pair of his Nike Zoom Kobe IVs in the white/grey-varsity purple colorway. Not only did KB24, as well as, Derek Fisher and Shannon Brown, do their part, but they did it in style; and of course, the Lakers came out with a stunning win over the Hornets.
