Independent artist Eric Elms worked with Vans to produce this skate shoe that’s uniquely him. The Elm’s unique silhouette borrows from the Vans Half Cab and Authentic and features a prominent vulcanized midsole. The shoe’s uppers are characterized by rich suede, velvet, or canvas. All told, the Eric Elms Vans sneaker will release in pine green, burgundy, and black and is available now at select Vans retailers nationwide.

Greedy Genius just unleashed two new versions of their nautical high top, the Ocean Runner. The Runner hit the ‘net in black/black nubuck and navy blue/white premium leather and will be available at retailers in the coming weeks. The shoe features a vulcanized midsole, honeycomb outsole, and lacing details (like the prominent “X” on the ankle collar) that improve fit.

The timeless Nike Cortez has reachieved global celebrity status recently, as an updated Flywire version of the jogger formed the centerpiece for a Nike Store opening in Taiwan. Technology is good and all, but I’m happy that the ‘Tez has hit shelves in a Nylon “Vintage” hues of orange and blue. The shoe features weathered suede accents and a dual-colored midsole for some added visual contrast. The Nike Cortez Nylon in orange and blue has hit select stockists in Southeast Asia.
