The Nike Zoom Flight Club is an emerging sneaker from Nike’s world famous basketball line. Taking inspiration from Gary Payton’s Nike Zoom Flight 98, the Zoom Flight Club hosts a perforated leather upper with a Nike Swoosh near the front and a zipper going right down the middle of the sneaker. The Nike Zoom Flight Club has been stirring up various opinions on the net, and some NBA athletes have begun to rock the sneaker on the courts. In the start of the season, most NBA players wore the Nike Hyperdunk, then the Nike Huarache ’09, Nike Blue Chip and other various sneakers began to show up, and now the Nike Zoom Flight Club has started to make its presence felt. A plethora of athletes including Caron Butler, Andre Iguodala, OJ Mayo, and Larry Hughes are now rocking player exclusive (PE) colorways of the Nike Zoom Flight Club on court. Caron Butler of the Washington Wizards has been wearing a player exclusive colorway of the Nike Foamposite Lite for a while now, but this is the first time we get a detailed look at the sneaker. The Foamposite Lite is known for its unique style and its superior performance on the court. This player exclusive colorway features a black upper accented by a blue sole, a gold Nike swoosh, and gold laces. The gold on this pair is reminiscent of the color found on the Washington Wizards’ jerseys. As it is with most player exclusives (PE), these are extremely limited and can only be found at select Footlocker House of Hoops locations. Via NT.

Sported by Amare Stoudemire and Caron Butler, the inventive Nike Foamposite Lite is the latest installment in the brand’s venerable ‘Posite stable. Featuring an armour-esque Polyurethane upper, and external heel counter, the Lite is augmented by a Carbon Fiber shank plate and 5mm Zoom Air bag embedded in the heel. The Nike Basketball shoe is available now in a black/anthracite colorway (Expect a bevy of team-oriented schemes to drop later in ’09!) at Eastbay for $154.99.

Crafted by Nike Basketball Senior Designer Leo Chang the Nike Bluechip is among the team-oriented options available for the ’08-’09 hoops season. The model has been released in a bevy of color schemes suitable for any high school, but now, we’re beginning to see player exclusive joints drops at Footlocker’s monopolized House of Hoops.

More particularly, the Bluechip will be available in a Caron Butler white/royal blue copper iteration, along with a black/powder blue/yellow version for Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay.
