The folks over at Jordan Brand have put together a very interesting online feature that plunges deeper into the design and production of Carmelo Anthony’s sixth (already!?) signature shoe, the M6. The website features brief video interviews Melo and the shoe’s designers, as well as some feedback from a performance tester. Being on the United States Olympic Gold Medal Basketball team has its perks, like getting your own player exclusive Air Jordan. Carmelo Anthony is no exception to this perk, as Jordan Brand has given the Nuggets star his own pair of Air Jordan IV’s. The Air Jordan IV (4) Carmelo Anthony Olympic Player Exclusive uses a lasered white leather upper on top of a white midsole and red outsole. This is strictly a two-tone colorway, making this a very clean shoe. The American flag is stitched on the insole, and the date August 8, 2008, as well as the USA Basketball logo, are found on the inner tongue. These size 15 sneakers are available now on eBay!.

As reported before Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony will be wearing his sixth signature shoe from the Jordan Brand, the Jordan Melo M6 during the 2009-10 NBA season. Earlier we saw a glimpse of some general colorways, but now we finally have a look at the M6 in his team’s Denver Nuggets colorway, Blue Sky/Black/Gold. The upper consists of patent leather, suede, leather, and a breathable mesh. Also, the shoe has gold stitching and Blue Sky accents. No word on a release date but stay posted.

Denver Nuggets superstar Carmelo Anthony will be wearing his sixth Jordan Brand signature shoe during the 2009-10 season, the Jordan MELO M6. The shoe takes a different approach than past MELO models, placing emphasis on lightweight construction, ventilation, and bulletproof ankle support. The M6 also features an exaggerated tongue and what looks to be a Air Jordan II (2) toe. The MELO M6 looks to be available in white/black/red, white/black, white/varsity red, white/navy blue, and white/University Blue and will likely be available by the Holiday season.

Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony has come a long way since being drafted into the NBA. He’s had 5 signature sneakers from Jordan Brand, plenty of NBA Playoff appearances, the whole nine yards. Now, JB laces him up with his own PE colorway of the Air Jordan 2009. The all black design is pretty simple, only being accented by a Denver Nuggets blue sole and paneling, and minimal yellow stitching. If you look closely, you’ll also see Melo’s number on the tongue.

Carmelo Anthony has led his Denver Nuggets to 2-1 in the series against the New Orleans Hornets, and he’s doing it in style. He’s unleashed a new PE colorway of his Melo M5, and the sneakers are all black with a yellow trim. As you can see, JB likes to try out different colorways on the Melo M5 (Green Week / Jordan Brand Classic for example), and this colorway does the shoe great justice as well.

Just in time for this years Jordan Brand Classic, this Air Jordan Melo M5 is scheduled to drop tomorrow, Friday April 17th. The M5 is designed with a white base overlaid with applications of red on the side panels, mid sole and sole. Also being found on this special Melo M5 is patent leather toe along with a metallic silver Jumpman.
