After seeing a preview of the Alife Shell Toe Hi-Lite in the Alife Fall 2009 Collection, we have another couple colorways for the classic-inspired sneaker. This model takes influence from the adidas shell toe, and resembles the ankle stitching of the Vans Sk8-Hi. Black/green and grey/pink colorways have been released on full leather and rubber uppers. The black pair features a grey Alife logo on the side heel, whereas the other pair has a pink logo. Alife also makes its mark on the back of the midsole as well as on the tongue.

A not so popular Nike Air Max model is making its way into the Fall 2009 releases. The Nike Air Max Zenith has come out with red and black colorways. The shoes feature patent leather panels along with leather and lightweight materials to make this a swell Air Max model. Of course both shoes have white midsoles to contrast these solid colors and match the clean white laces. Be on the lookout for these coming soon.

Crooks and Vans have done it again with a pack set to release in 2010. Here we have a preview of the C&C x Vans Chukka & Moda Hi, both in black epi leather and white midsoles. The Moda Hi also has black quilted leather, only making this pack even sweeter. The Crooks logo is found on the side panel of the Moda Hi and on the tongue of the Chukka. Be on the lookout for this pack early next year.

We last saw the retro of the original Nike Air Max 97 in metallic silver and varsity red. This time, we have the Nike Air Max 97 LUX LE in a black colorway. This AM97 rocks an all black upper with various grey accents throughout the front of the shoe to contrast the black mesh and rubber materials. The Nike Air Max unit has a dark translucent hue to keep this shoe dark, along with a sweet translucent outsole. Of course, these 97’s have the reflective material making this another classic shoe. After seeing a small preview of the Supra Thunder in the Fall 2009 lineup, we have a closer yet limited look at the black suede Supra Thunder. The high top shoe features a full black suede upper to contrast its white midsole and vulcanized toe. This is a pretty simple shoe compared to Supra’s other releases. Supra as well as LA-based clothing brand “The Hundreds” are getting on the classic silhouette made famous by Converse. This shoe is set for release later this year but is available now for $72 online.
