One thing is for sure about the BBC/Ice Cream brand, its products are, for better or for worse, neck-breakers. As the summer season ended, we caught a glance of the “Space Beach” chukkas that were generally well thought of. Now, the BBC/Ice Cram team tries a more classic and tried colorway on the same chukka model with a digital comouflage upper that also sits on a completely white sole and comes with white shoe laces. How do you think this pair of Digital Camo chukkas compares to the Space Beach pair? Very select BBC/Ice Cream retailers have begun receiving these, such as the Tokyo flagship store. So good luck “hunting” these down! (Pun intended.)

Pharrell’s BBC/Ice Cream brand is at it again. One of the earliest pieces of news we received in 2009 involved the attention-grabbing BBC/Ice Cream Waffle Lo. Whether looked favorably upon or not, eclectic releases like these have become commonplace within the highly renowned entertainer’s brand. For Fall/Winter of 2009, however, BBC/Ice Cream attempts to fly high while holding on to summer with its release of the “Space Beach” collection. Made up of hoodies, t-shirts, and even jewelry, this collection also includes a pair of Chukka sneakers in a predominantly navy/denim blue colorway with tan and white accents that all sit atop a completely white sole. Japanese retail stores expect an August 29th release date, so stay on top of your local BBC/Ice Cream retailer(s) in anticipation.

Leggo My Ice Cream: BBC Waffle Low

Eight years ago, BBC/Ice Cream jumped off in Japan. (Eight years! Wow, that was fast…) The lifestyle brand recently hit press outlets and retailers with their 2009 Look Book, which is chock full of embellished hoodies and semi-inventive leisure footwear. My favorite from the company’s ‘09 lineup is the Waffle Low, a canvas affair that’s distinguished by an intriguing waffle pattern along the upper and butter garnish on the vulcanized midsole. The Waffle is available in black and red and is available for approximately $169. Via Hypebeast.
