A Bathing Ape has recently tried to get the attention of us sneaker enthusiasts by placing a big Milo logo on the tongue of some of the brand’s Skull Sta colorways. But the brand is also looking to appeal to you Chukka lovers out there. Pictured here is the newly released A Bathing Ape Chukka in a mid-top cut with classic 1st camouflage upper detailing. The two colorways pictured here come equipped with a brown leather heel tab, which sits just above the “BAPE” name and aforementioned Milo on the sole. Last month we took a look at a collection of the Bape Sta mid from A Bathing Ape that included perforated Bape star logos on the panels. Today, we run into this A Bathing Ape Skull Sta nicknamed the “Big Tongue Ultra.” It comes in a primarily white leather base on the upper, with navy star logo and a huge Bape logo in grey on the tongue. These are slated to arrive at A Bathing Ape stores shortly.

Fresh from Bape is the return of the Bape Sta Mid for 2012.

A mid-top version of the Japanese streetwear brand’s most popular kicks, these come with premium leather uppers, including a textured debossed leather that resembles the elephant print popularized by Jordan Brand. With a predominately white colorway, these are available with either black, navy, or brown accents.

All three colorways of the Bape Sta Mid are available now for $290 via the brand’s website.

Having celebrated the new year partially by looking at the Deck shoe that is part of Ursus Bape’s first Spring/Summer 2012 offerings, today we get a look at something else from said collection. Ursus Bape is also making available the brown Chukka pictured here with a premium suede upper, side lacing and hand-stitched toe box. The Ursus Bape logo peeks out at us from the tongue; and, select overseas retailers have made this design available for purchase now.

In a bit of a departure from streetwear, Bape has produced a number of more menswear-leaning designs as of late.

This collaboration with British footwear designer George Cox continues along that trend.  This exclusive version of the Creeper features a premium woven suede upper, d-ring lacing, and a rugged outsole.

The Skull Sta has become one of Bape‘s most iconic silhouettes and the brand is looking to capitalize on it’s popularity with a new high top version of the timeless kicks.

The BIG TONGUE Ultra Skull Sta features a tonal leather look with contrasting branding, a shell toe, and a large Bape logo on the tongue.

Dropping alongside the Tennis Shoe in 2012 is this offering from the URSUS Bape line.

The URSUS Bape Deck Shoe sports the look of a classic CVO, appearing here in white canvas with a blue midsole stripe and a white vulcanized sole.  Mixing it up a bit, the Deck Shoe comes as a slip-on, sans laces.

The kicks are set to drop in Spring/Summer 2012 for about $160.
