Recently we previewed for you a collection of A Bathing Ape’s Bapesta silhouette that got “checkered” treatment. However, it seems as though Bape is checking (no pun intended) out how that scheme fits in with its Roadsta silhouette also. Three colorways of the Roadsta check include brown/blue, green/black, and grey/black. While the light color scheme on the first pair makes the checkered pattern stand out, the other two pairs’ darker colorways make the pattern a little more covert. A Bathing Ape has released some new colorways for the Bape Roadsta model for the Holiday 2009 season. The Bape Roadsta comes in a simple yet stylish patent pack. Black and white colorways are available in all patent leather uppers; the black pair sports a two-tone black and white colorway, using a black patent upper and white midsole, atop a black outsole. The white pair is totally decked out in white, making its own “all white everything” statement. These Roadstas are available now at your local Bape store.

We last saw the Bape Roadsta being “foiled” out with the Foil Pack, but this time, things are getting a little more metal. The Bape Roadsta has been released in a new metallic pack, consisting of four colorways. The colorways include brown/gold, red/gold, red/silver, and pink/silver bases, all using white midsoles and white leather bases. The metallic material is used on the toebox, Bape star, and tongue, giving the shoe some shiny accents. These new colorways are available now for about $183 a pair.
