Featuring a black upper with green and red accents reminiscent of the A Tribe Called Quest’s cover art from the Midnight Marauders album, this pair yields an interesting and unique colorway that not all are fond of. This pair also includes red inner lining, and a green and red stripe on the midsole. Aside from the red and green elements of this sneaker, it has a black leather base with black laces. We saw a preview of the Air Jordan I (1) “A Tribe Called Quest” High Strap – Black / Varsity Red – Classic Green a couple days ago and we now have a new, more detailed picture and new information to share. This Air Jordan I (1) High Strap comes equipped with a black leather and fabric upper which is accented by red and green embroidery inspired by A Tribe Called Quest’s cover art from the Midnight Marauders album. Jordan Brand has gone the extra mile while designing this sneaker by including a patent leather Nike swoosh, green stitching on the midsole, and a red outsole which all come together to create a stylish sneaker that represents ATCQ well.

Recently, we showed you the A Tribe Called Quest X Air Jordan T-Shirts which are made exclusively for the release of the A Tribe Called Quest x Air Jordan I (1) “Sole 2 Sole” High Strap Premium Quickstrike. Now, we have pictures of a couple more t-shirts that are being created for the release of the aforementioned Air Jordan 1 (I) High Strap.
