Air Jordan 2009 (2K9) - ASG '09 - Ray Allen Player Exclusive (PE)

With the Air Jordan 2009 S23 releasing a little while ago, we are now getting a first look at an Air Jordan 2009 made exclusively for Ray Allen to rock while he participates in the NBA 2009 All-Star Game. This is the first AJ 2K9 to feature an upper composed of more than two colors and it looks quite promising that future colorways will definitely make some sneakerheads change their opinions of this model. Yielding a predominately white leather upper with navy blue satin and a university blue trim, this pair nicely matches with the jerseys of the Eastern Conference NBA All-Stars. As it is with all current colorways of the Air Jordan 2009, this pair comes with a blown-glass midsole which gives the sneaker a very clean and unique look. There is currently no information indicating that this pair will be made available to the public, but stay tuned for updates.

Nike Zoom MVP "Trash Talk" - All Star Game 2009

With the NBA 2009 All Star Game just around the corner, we are now getting a first look at a Nike Zoom MVP inspired by All Star Weekend. Though Steve Nash did not actually make the roster for the game this year, his signature sneaker, the Zoom MVP, will still receive the All Star Game treatment. This pair is a “Trash Talk” release which indicates that the sneaker takes an eco-friendly approach and is literally made of trash out of Nike’s factory floors. The All Star rendition of the Zoom MVP features a white leather upper with a gold swoosh, gold accents, red laces, and red accents. These are now available at select Footlocker House of Hoops locations. Via NT.
