Back before AND1 fell off, the Le Habra, California-based brand built quite the rapport with both NBA players and NCAA teams. Nearly 25% of the athletes in the League were sporting the “Player logo” and teams like the Wyoming Cowboys and Pacific Tigers were outfitted in the brand’s footwear and apparel. The Tigers were hit off with an exclusive pair of the ‘05-06 Devastate Mid in white/black/team orange with a Harmonix heel unit and Pac’s “Tiger” logo stitched on the medial side below the ankle. If anyone has a pair of Wyoming Cowboys AND1 Mystiques in a size 12-14, hit me off in a reply, we need to do business! Devastates courtesy of eBay seller Noleyjoesmom.

The team suspended him thirty games without pay. But hey, at least the lightning-quick guard has his first signature shoe, the AND1 ME8, releasing in early ‘09!

Player Exclusive Rewind: David Wesley’s AND1 Tai Chi

With Harmonix Air embedded in the heel, the AND1 2Chi was the brand’s 2004-05 reinvention of the classically half-toned Tai Chi. The Deux Chi was offered up in leather/suede accents, leather/patent accents and full-patent variations. NBA guard David Wesley was running with the New Orleans Hornets upon the model’s release, and was hit off with this beautifully gaudy aqua/purple.yellow version of the shoe. “BHJ” and Wesley’s jersey “4″ are inscribed upon the shoe. Man, I need these! Via NT member WW055
