The Nike Alpholution, a relatively new Nike Basketball product, has been released in a plethora of colorways already, and we now have a look at the pair dubbed as the “Carbon Fiber” Alpholution. As the name denotes, this pair features quite a large amount of carbon fiber seen on the heel, mid-panel, and lace region. Contrasting the carbon fiber is a black mesh and nubuck base which is accented by a clean white mid-sole and swoosh. The “Carbon Fiber” Nike Alpholution is now available at select retailers.

We previewed the Nike Alpholution back in May, and we are now receiving word that Nike’s newest hybrid basketball sneaker has begun to arrive at select retailers. The Alpholution is a combination of two classic Nike Basketball sneakers: the Nike Alpha Force and the Nike Air Revolution. Currently, the sneaker is available in three styles: white/emerald, white/royal blue, and black/red. All three pairs host a forefoot strap and “AIR FRESH” on the tongue. We saw a catalog image of the Nike Alpholution last year, and we now have our first look at the actual sneaker itself. The Nike Alpholution is the product of a combination between the Nike Alpha Force and the Nike Air Revolution. This pair of the Alpholution features a white leather upper with black accents seen on the mid-sole, inner lining, heel, and mudguard, while teal accents can be seen via the heel, strap, swoosh, and tongue. Overall, this sneaker yields a clean and bright colorway that is definitely worth checking out as its July 2009 release date nears. The Nike Alpholution will retail for $100 beginning in July.
