Released in 1917, the Converse All Star has become a translocal icon for its simple canvas upper, rubberized outsole, and metallic eyelets. Initially sported by Chuck Taylor as a high-performance basketball sneaker, the minimalistic shoe has taken on a more artful role in the past decade, its canvas literally paving a way for artists to act on creative self-indulgences. This “Pink Floyd Animals” variation pays homage to legendary Brit rock troupe Pink Floyd. Crafted in a unique white/black/grey tonal scheme, the shoe features album artwork and a unique pig graphic. SOPHNET. celebrates their 10th anniversary with Converse who also embarks on a major accolade, 100 years in the industry. The two utilize a classic, the All-Star Hi by dressing it in a subtle black and white palette on a canvas upper. However, like the Mastermind x Converse Chuck Taylor  a few days ago, this pair of Converses also includes zippers, but in this case they can be found at the sides of the sneaker. With Converse launching a series of sneakers to commemorate their 100 years in the business, they have also been busy with other lines and project including the Mocomoco Pack, which consists of two All Star Hi’s. Each style consist of a plush upper upper available in black and wheat suede, reminiscent of teddy bears. Furthermore, each also features an accenting lacing area and converse logo at the side. Both sneakers are available at ripe now.
