Two days ago we showed our readers a leopard print sneaker designed by the Marc Jacobs team. It may or may not be to your liking, but we continue today with a look at sneakers from another high-end fashion icon. Pictured here is the Ice Print sneaker, which is the result of a collaborative effort between Puma and Alexander McQueen. This design comes with perforated lining, a uniquely shaped ankle and either white or black soles. If you like what you see, then, besides saving up, you’ll also probably have to find a new sneaker source for this heat.

We’ve already seen Alexander McQueen collaborate with Puma before, even as recently as on the Twisted Leather sneaker set to release this season. The next offering from this team comes by way of two eagle print sneakers- one in a white base, and the other in a black base. Each pair is set to release this Spring/Summer sneaker season, so on top of your finer Puma carriers in anticipation of this anticipated drop.

Earlier this month, we brought you an extensive look at the Puma R698 Classic Kicks collection. Today’s Puma news is a little more unorthodox. Pictured here is the Twisted Leather high-top sneaker produced by the teaming of Alexander McQueen and Puma. This eye-popping silhouette comes in a primarily light grey upper with white soles and hints of yellow behind the “twisted” sections of the shoe. While these are a part of Puma’s Spring/Summer 2011 sneaker collection, they are available now from select retailers.

The latest model to come from the ongoing Alexander McQueen x Puma collaboration effort, the start of which we showed you back in February, is the AMQ Trail Trainer. Available in two very different mid and low versions, McQueen blends a bit of the runway into Puma’s urban lifestyle silhouettes. The mid-top features a brown suede upper accented with hits of grey, maroon, and red, whereas the low-top uses an unconventional printed plastic for its muted beige, grey, and brown upper. Both models are available now from select sneaker boutiques, such as oki-ni.

Alexander McQueen has achieved some major accomplishments over the past years and has now initiated a recent collaboration with Puma. The AMQ Scarred Mid uses only the finest materials including brown reptile leather making this the priciest sneaker in the upcoming McQueen x Puma collection. Furthermore, a matching pair of sandals will be included in the package as well. Unfortunately, these sneakers carry a hefty price tag of $3,600. Via Openers.
