Next up in the Air Jordan Fusion Line which meshes a numbered Air Jordan model with an Air Force One (1) is the Air Jordan Fusion IV (4). Up to now, we have not seen too many detailed pictures of the sneaker, and some key changes have definitely been made since we originally previewed the sneaker earlier in the year. As most sneakerheads can tell by first glance, this AJF4 is inspired by the “Military Blue” Air Jordan IV (4). Featuring a white upper with neutral grey accents and a military blue Air Force 1 sole, this pair is extremely similar to the Air Jordan 4 that released in 2006. We initially previewed the Air Jordan Fusion IX (9) earlier this year, and we are now getting our first look at the White/Black-University Blue colorway of the AJF9. This colorway obviously takes inspiration from the Powder Blue Air Jordan IX (9) and features a white leather upper accented by a university blue midsole, black laces, and a black tongue. The Air Force One (1) components of the sneaker are visible through the midsole, outsole, and lacetag. The tongue tag reads “The Best of Both Worlds” on the inside and “AJF Jordan” on the outside. With the release of the Air Jordan I (1) Low Phat – Portland Trailblazers nearing, we are now getting a first look at the home colorway of the Utah Jazz Air Jordan I (1) Low Phat. As part of their championship pack series, Jordan Brand is set to release two colorways of the Air Jordan 1 Low Phat and one colorway of the Air Jordan Six Rings in commemoration of Michael Jordan and the Bulls defeating the Utah Jazz en route to one of MJ’s six championship rings. This pair features a white leather base accented by a vivid blue swoosh, tongue, and outsole. Also yielding a court purple midsole with a white patent leather toecap, this pair has a simple, yet clean colorway. These are set to drop on March 28, 2009.

Jordan Brand has made an Air Jordan 2009 Player Exclusive for each of their athletes participating in the 2009 NBA All Star Game. We have shown you the pairs Ray Allen and Joe Johnson will rock in the ‘09 ASG and it is now time to take a first look at Chris Paul’s AJ 2009 PE. CP3’s pair is very similar to Johnson’s PE and features a white leather upper with white satin panels, a light red midsole and ankle, a deep red blown-glass midsole, and gold accents. Chris Paul has had numerous Air Jordan player exclusives in the past and the newest one to add to his arsenal is this pair which CP3 will be rocking during All Star Weekend beginning February 13, 2009.

Earlier today, we showcased the Air Jordan 2009 (2K9) – All Star Game – Ray Allen Player Exclusive (PE) and now we are getting a first look at an Air Jordan 2009 PE made for Joe Johnson. As most of us know by now, Johnson will be representing the Atlanta Hawks and Team Jordan in the NBA 2009 All Star Game and Jordan Brand has made this PE in recognition of JJ’s accomplishment. This pair features a relatively simple upper composed of white leather, white satin, a navy blue midsole, and university blue accents. This Joe Johnson Air Jordan 2009 Player Exclusive is not yet scheduled for release, but don’t be surprised if it drops in limited numbers in the upcoming weeks. With the Air Jordan 2009 S23 releasing a little while ago, we are now getting a first look at an Air Jordan 2009 made exclusively for Ray Allen to rock while he participates in the NBA 2009 All-Star Game. This is the first AJ 2K9 to feature an upper composed of more than two colors and it looks quite promising that future colorways will definitely make some sneakerheads change their opinions of this model. Yielding a predominately white leather upper with navy blue satin and a university blue trim, this pair nicely matches with the jerseys of the Eastern Conference NBA All-Stars. As it is with all current colorways of the Air Jordan 2009, this pair comes with a blown-glass midsole which gives the sneaker a very clean and unique look. There is currently no information indicating that this pair will be made available to the public, but stay tuned for updates.

As time goes on, more and more Air Jordan player exclusives are created. Though most are designed for NBA players, there are also a handful of player exclusives made for those partaking in Michael Jordan’s second favorite sport, baseball. These two pairs shown above are Air Jordan IVs made exclusively Andruw Jones, the former center fielder of the Atlanta Braves. Both pairs feature black bases, the traditional Andrew Jones baseball insignia stitched into the heel, and spikes on the sole. The first pair comes with red wingtips, blue inner liner, a red heel tab, and a blue and white midsole. The latter of the two pairs features a black base with red accents and a white midsole. Both pairs were made exclusively for Andruw Jones, and will not be released in the future. Via NT.
