The time has finally come for the third colorway of arguably the most sought after sneaker of 2009, the Nike Air Yeezy, to release. There is no denying the hype behind this sneaker. The first colorway sold out within minutes, the second colorway sold out within minutes, and the third colorway is expected to sell out–no surprise here–within minutes. If you are currently not in line in front of a store expected to carry the Air Yeezy, you have an extremely low chance of purchasing the sneakers for even close to retail price. Nonetheless, this Nike Air Yeezy features a tan upper with pink accents seen via the inner lining, dark grey accents seen on the toecap, a white mid-sole, and a glow-in-the-dark sole.

There’s no denying the high level of rarity and exclusivity of the Nike Air Yeezy, and everyone will be reminded once again with the release of the Net colorway on June 6th. Very few stores actually receive the sneakers, but for those of you in Louisiana, Sneaker Politics is releasing the Yeezys. There’s a catch, though. To make the Nike Air Yeezy release as fair as possible, the store is using a raffle to decide who gets at chance at these limited kicks. In order to receive a raffle ticket, you must purchase an Air Yeezy – Glow In The Dark tee from Great Dane Clothing, which is being sold at Sneaker Politics (in-store and online). If you decide to cop all three colorways of the tee, you’ll receive a bonus raffle ticket, which leaves you with a total of four tickets. On June 6th at 11 AM, the ticket drawing will begin. You’re only allowed to purchase one pair, even if you have multiple winning tickets. Recently, Virginia rap-duo, the Clipse, teamed up with Kanye West for their new single, “Kinda Like A Big Deal”. Behind the scenes of their video shoot, some big names such as KiD CuDi, Ibn Jasper, Kanye West, and Pusha T gathered around as they unveiled the rest of Kanye’s unreleased sneakers. Kanye’s already one of the top names in the rap game, and he also has two sneaker lines out by two different companies at the same time! That’s above amazing, and he seemed humbled as he saw all of his creations in front of his eyes. Some of the models included the new Net colorway of the Nike Air Yeezy, the Louis Vuitton Don’s, and the Louis Vuitton Jasper’s. You should all know by now how hard it’s going to be to get these sneakers, as Pusha T doesn’t even have a pair of Yeezys, and Kanye proclaimed that he had to buy a few pairs from eBay. Nonetheless, this Toys ‘R Us video segment should give you some great looks at Kanye’s upcoming sneakers, as well as a few laughs.

The final installment in the Air Yeezy series is this Net colorway, and there are a few differences in this shoe when compared to the previous two colorways. Not yet sold on the upcoming Nike Air Yeezy releasing on May 2nd? Well these pictures may change your mind as they provide a detailed view of the next installment in the Kanye West collection. This Air Yeezy consists of a subtle combination of black, grey and pink. Other details include Yeezy’s “Y” print ont he patent leather strap and on the back heel. The inner lining is also colored with pink for a nice contrast. Get your chairs and camping gear ready for this one as it has been said people have already started lining up a few spots. Scheduled to drop this May, the black/black/grey/pink Nike Air Yeezy has hit eBay in premature fashion. The Kanye West signature is abounding with premium materials, my favorite being the sturdy faux crocodile print midfoot support strap, that I assure you, does nothing to tangibly improve performance. This yet-to-be released version also offers glow bottoms, perfect for stuntin’, hypebeasting, or pretending like you know somebody when you traverse through the streets. (The outsole still glows if you keep ‘em in the closet. Consider that an added bonus!) The Nike Air Yeezy Black/Pink are available now on eBay, but be sure to look for them when they hit retailers in limited numbers next month.

For an Air Yeezy type look without the outrageous prices, check out the most recent RT1 released by Nike. The new sneaker gets a bit more style with a neutral grey/green mist/cool grey color scheme as opposed to the first release consisting of a solid black upper and varsity red highlights. This pair is composed of a neutral grey base with a touch of cool grey and green mist accents. The look is completed with safari print at the back heel for a nice finishing detail. This RT1 is scheduled to drop next month, but can be picked-up early off the ‘Bay.
