Nike has been cleaning up with multi-sport superstar Bo Jackson these past few weeks, paying homage to the retired athlete through an assortment of different shoes. On top of the Nike Air Trainer II LE and Nike Blazer Mid models we saw earlier this week, pictures of a new Nike Air Trainer I tribute have got people talking. Similar to the Tecmo Blazers, this Blue and White Royals inspired colorway features a pixelated pattern and a 16-Bit Bo Jackson tag on the tongue. No details on a release date yet, but Nike seems to be giving anything with a Bo Jackson twist the green light.

The Nike Air Trainer 1 has just been made available in four new colorways which all take inspiration from professional athletes. The first pair is inspired by Brandon Roy of the Portland Trailblazers, and it hosts a black upper with white and red accents. The second pair features a grey upper with white and red accents, while the third pair yields a white base with blue and yellow accents, and are inspired by Jimmy Rollins and LaDanian Tomlinson, respectively. Nike is lacing up many athletes with their own PE of the Air Trainer 1, but they can’t do that without paying homage to one of the greats, Bo Jackson. For two years, Nike ran a campaign with Bo Jackson for a series of cross-training shoes: The “Bo Knows” campaign. This black and silver colorway is very reminiscent of Bo’s uniform when he played for the Oakland Raiders. Besides the Bo Knows logo on the tongue tag, you can catch a very famous poster of Bo Jackson printed on the insoles. Unfortunately, these are just a 1 of 1 made especially for Bo, so you’ll have to catch other colorways. Bo definitely knows sneakers.

Earlier today, we showcased a conceptual design of a Nike Air Max Trainer 90, but we now have pictures of an actual hybrid featuring the Nike Air Trainer 1. This time around, Nike has meshed the Air Max 1 with the Air Trainer 1 to create a clean low-top sneaker which hosts the best of both worlds. This pair is nicknamed “Chlorophyll” due to the green accents seen on the white, black, and grey base. To top it all off, this sneaker also comes standard with a flywire midpanel, an Air Trainer 1 strap, and a nylon toebox. Expect the Nike Air Max 1 Flywire x Air Trainer 1 Hybrid – Chlorophyll to release later this year, but a sample pair is now available on the ‘bay.

Reminiscent of the Nike Striped Pack, the Nike Sportswear Air Trainer 1 Premium Quickstrike features a red/white colorway in an all-over stripe pattern. The shoe resembles a striped button-up shirt with the design and the button found on the tongue strap. The white swoosh contrasts the pattern well, especially with the help of a red and white midsole and gum sole. The insole features a montage of patterns to add some flavor to the bottom of your foot. To keep it simple, “Nike” is etched in lowercase at the back heel which describes the simplicity of the shoe. These are quickstrikes so be sure to get these ASAP for about $165.
