To get ready for the spring season, Nike Sportswear is giving many of its classic silhouettes some stylish makeovers. The Air Pegasus model is no exception, with the upcoming release of the Nike Sportswear Air Pegasus ’89 in a black/medium grey-electric green colorway. The upper consists of black suede, leather, and mesh, all of which are contrasted nicely by electric green on the inner lining, and medium grey on the leather swoosh. The black midsole and outsole shows a hint of white to mix it up a bit. This shoe will release January 2010, just in time for the oncoming spring season.

Nike is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of their All-Condtions Gear line-up with inspired reissues such as the Nike Mowabb ACG Blazer & Terminator. The Swoosh has also redesigned several of their classic models to fit the outdoors-friendly mold of an ACG product. The latest shoe to recieve the aforementioned treatment is the Air Pegasus. The antiquated running shoe was rekindled with a rubberized sole and weatherproof brown leather upper. Expect to see the Nike Air Pegasus ACG Hybrid at retail later this year! Via Glltn.

Scans of Nike’s catalogs are usually one of the best ways to scope out what you’re interested in and what you’ll pass on. This scan of Nike’s Spring 2009 catalog proves what that Nike will be stepping their game up on all types of sneakers ranging from running to basketball and even to gradeschool sized sneakers. Above, you can see that a new Nike basketball sneaker, the Nike Game Five, will begin to release in January and will have another colorway release in March. Two of the more popular Nike sneakers, the Nike Air Foamposite One and the Nike Air Penny III, will release in February and March, respectively.

We gave you a preview of Nike’s 2009 running collection including the Nike Twilight a while ago and we now have new information and detailed pictures of the pair. Referred to as the Nike Twilight, the pair shown above is a hybrid between three of Nike’s greatest running sneakers—the Nike Air Triax Structure, the Nike Air Max Stab, and the Nike Air Pegasus. That’s right, 2009 will bring further development of the “love it or hate it” concept of combining multiple sneakers into one and referring to the product as a hybrid. The Nike Twilight yields a mesh toebox, rubber outsole, and leather accents.  You can expect for these to drop at your local Nike retailers in Spring 2009. Via BKRW.
