After teasing us for months with images and international releases, the long awaited Nike Air Maxim 1 x Nike Air Trainer 1 mashup, the Nike Air Maxim 1+ Trainer, has finally made its stateside debut. Fitted with a flywire ‘Maxim’ upper, the model retains the OG Trainer 1 ‘Chlorophyll’ color scheme, with a predominantly Grey upper and accent work in Chlorophyll, Black, and White. The hybrid trainer is already available from select Nike retailers like Proper and Standard, but you can always get in touch with your local sneakershops to see when they’ll be stocking the model.

There is no doubting the claim that Nike has been pushing the envelope with their latest sneaker hybrids as of late, and we now have another combination of two sneakers to share. The end product has been dubbed the Air Maxim Trainer 1 because the two sneakers meshed together are the Air Maxim 1 and the Air Trainer 1. This colorway hosts a grey upper with black, chlorophyll, and white accents. The overall shape of the sneaker is extremely similar to the Air Maxim 1 with the addition of a forefoot strap. The Nike Air Maxim Trainer 1 will release in the coming months.

Parra is definitely no new name when it comes to sneaker collaborations considering that the Holland-based artist has teamed up with Nike, Converse, and Vans in the past. This time around, the Air Maxim 1 is the silhouette of choice, and it hosts a black based colorway. This pair features a black suede and synthetic mesh upper with red accents seen on the stitching and midsole, while sea green accents are visible via the stitching, rear logo, laces, midsole, and the air bubble in the sole. The Parra x Nike Air Maxim 1 is expected to release in the next few months.

The Air Maxim 1 takes the silhouette of the Air Max 1 and combines it with Flywire technology in order to give the classic sneaker a technological twist. This pair of the Air Maxim 1 hosts a white upper with varsity red accents seen on the inner lining, swoosh, and mudguard, while black accents are visible via the out-sole and tongue tag. The Nike Air Maxim 1 – White/Varsity Red-Black is now available at select Nike retailers.
