Jordan Brand has just released news indicating that each Air Jordan model from the Air Jordan I to the Air Jordan XX3 will be released in a “Bin 23″ colorway. According to JB, “this is where experimental and imagined Air Jordan designs, now aged to perfection, finally spring to life. In essence, Bin 23 holds lost stories, resurrected by passion, that are finally ready to be whispered again. Each pair is a treasure, worthy of greatness.” The first model to hold the Bin 23 name will be the Air Jordan 2, which “pays tribute to the exquisite craftsmanship and refined style of the original Air Jordan II, utilizing a rich, supple chocolate brown leather and exquisite attention to detail in a fitting homage to the original Air Jordan II’s legacy.” All sneakers from the Bin 23 collection will also host the red Bin 23 seal. Back in the beginning of January we showed you a sneak peek of a newer team Jordan silhouette known as the Air Jordan Accolades. Now we have the first look at an Air Jordan Accolades in a white/black-cement grey colorway that makes this team Jordan model look even better than at first. The sole of this sneaker obviously borrows cues from the Air Jordan X, while the cement grey on the heel of this pair is sure to remind us of the Air Jordan III. While the upper on this pair of Air Jordan Accolades comes in predominantly perforated white leather, cement grey covers the heel and shoelace eyelets. Black is then seen along the mudguard and ankle lining. Only a few days ago, we showcased the Black/University Blue Air Jordan Alpha 1, and we now have another colorway of the same model to share. Featuring a predominately white perforated leather upper accented by a black swoosh, red ankle logo, black inner lining, translucent sole, white sticthing, and black laces, this pair yields quite an interesting colorway that is definitely worth checking out. The White/Black-Varsity Red colorway of the Air Jordan Alpha I (1) should be available at your local retailers in the upcoming weeks.

In November of last year we showed you a preview shot of an Air Jordan I Phat that is quite evidently inspired by the OG white/varsity red-black Air Jordan XX. The mid panel on this Air Jordan I Phat contains the same laser pattern that is found on the aforementioned Air Jordan XX’s strap, while the Nike swoosh is see-through and outlined in red. Hints of red can be found along the ankle lining and heel, while black is used on the outsole and heel as well. Finally, white patent leather is used in places such as parts of the toe area and heel where the Air Jordan wings are placed. Our readers were rather excited when in September of last year we reported on a rumor that the Air Jordan IX “Powder Blue” would be retroing in 2010. Now that we’ve received official word of its planned release, fans of this specific Air Jordan IX colorway can’t seem to wait for the actual drop. Earlier today, we gave you a sneak preview of the Air Jordan 1 KO – White/Red, and we now have detailed pictures and more information to share. This Air Jordan 1 hosts a white canvas upper accented by a varsity red swoosh, outsole, tongue border, tongue tag, and AJKO logo on the ankle. Another key aspect of this pair is the pre-yellowed soles which gives a classic feel to the sneakers. The Air Jordan (I) 1 “AJKO” – White/Varsity Red is expected to release in either late March or early April, so be sure to stay tuned for any updates!

Last month we saw another generally liked Air Jordan Spizike colorway release with the black/varsity red-cement grey-military blue pair. Now we’d like to bring you images of another Air Jordan Spizike that is releasing later this Spring. Pictured here is a black/cement-new blue-infared Air Jordan Spizike that will be releasing from select Air Jordan retailers including FootLocker and House of Hoops locations nationwide on May 8th of this year. The upper comes in a predominantly black suede upper, with slight infared and new blue accents throughout. However, perhaps the most interesting part of this Spizike is the lightly covered elephant print on the heel tab and toe. Could this be, in your opinion, the best Air Jordan Spizike of the year?
