Not long ago we reported that the Air Jordan 12 will return in 2012 in the Playoff and Obsidian (Taxi also but not shown) colorway. Today we have a picture showing the two 2012 Air Jordan 12, but are samples.

Both the 2012 Air Jordan XII Obsidian and Playoff are true to its original form including quality leather uppers and color placement.

The Jordan 12 Playoff 2012 will release in April, while the Obsidian colorway drops in June. Retail for both is $160.

Michael Wood of Envintaj Customz has been keeping busy with all of his custom work as of late.

We’ve previously seen his latest Air Jordan VI lineup and now we have a pair of Air Jordan XII ‘Taxi’ that have been transformed into the ‘Aerial Assault’ XII. This particular custom was specially made for Brandyn Harvey, Wide Receiver for the Atlanta Falcons.

Camo paint, shark teeth and red nose are all incorporated into the shoe along with its all Grey upper. The detail Michael is able to achieve in his paint work is astounding.

Earlier this week news came out about the Air Jordan XII low ‘Taxi’ once again releasing later this year. Today we got more images of this retro, looking very simliar to the 04 ‘Taxi’ lows besides the all black midsole, these are looking to a be solid re-retro. A release date is yet to be said, but these have been reported to be available at select online websits. The Air Jordan XII ‘Taxi’ was last seen in the Air Jordan Countdown packages, along with the Air Jordan XI ‘Bred’ back in ’08. Before the 2008 retro, in 2004 the ‘Taxi’ colorway was released in a low cut model in. Seems like the low cut retro is once again seeing a release later this year, around Spring or Summer time. By now we should all know Mike Bibby has quite a collection of player exclusives, thats the good thing about being signed with Jordan Brand. This Air Jordan XIII at first glance may have seem to released back in 2005, but take a second look and you will see the Bibby’s Team Dime/10 logo on both tongues, and a red jumpman and ‘Jordan’ insignia instead of pink. Much like the Air Jordan XIII low that dropped a couple years back, this pair features a white leather upper, with a baby blue suede mid sole that continues along the side of the shoe and heel. These Mike Bibby Air Jordan XIII player exclusives are up for grabs thanks to ebay seller markadim. NBA all star and Denver Nuggets star forward, Carmelo Anthony, is signed with sneaker brand Air Jordan. This Air Jordan XII is dressed in the Nuggets colorway, with a University Blue leather upper, a White mid and bottom sole. The shoe aint complete with out some Varsity Maize accents throughout the sole, including the word “Melo” stitched on the heel part of the shoe. The inner tag shoes that this PE was made back in ’09, which mean Melo could have worn these last season, but are now available thanks to ebay seller sole_supreme. Back in 03 the Air Jordan XII retro low was introduced, and was released in two colorways, a Taxi and a Obsidian colorway. Seems like one was left in the dust, this Air Jordan XII retro low is a sample and will probably never see a release. This sample features a White and Varsity Red colorway, an all White leather upper with a Varsity Red sole and accents. Too bad these will never drop but check out more pics of the Air Jordan XII low sample after the jump, and let us know what you guys think about this sample.
