Despite the minor hiccup in Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan XII Retro release schedule, many of us are still excited for the popular AJ model to hit retailers. In efforts to revive the retro card, JB will be including a brand new card with the AJXII ‘Flu Game’ model.  The card gives Jordan’s 38 point game against the Utah Jazz in the 1997 NBA Finals a visual identity comprised of symbols, the sick face representing his Airness playing through the symptoms of the flu. Set to release on the 27th of November (we hope), the sneaker features the same hieroglyphic message on its tongue.

By now,  most of you have probably heard about Jordan Brand’s Air Jordan XII Retro ‘Rising Sun’ release fiasco. Originally set to hit retailers yesterday, October 24th, JB announced on Friday that they were delaying the launch of the collection – footwear, apparel, and accessories included. Rumour has it that issues with the ‘Rising Sun’ insole are the main reason for delay, but we’ll have to wait and see what changes are made in the new version to be sure. The new scheduled release date for the model is November 21st, leaving those of you who were fortunate enough to grab a pair before the recall with a solid month of exclusive ownership.

The end of the year is going to be a big couple of months for the Air Jordan XII, the model set to be released in three classic colorways. The AJXII Retro ‘Rising Sun’ model will kick things off with an October release, followed by the ‘Flu Game’ in November, and a White/Varsity Red/Black colorway in December. Taking influence from the Air Jordan XII (12) and the Air Jordan Fusion 12, this Air Jordan Flight 45 comes in a black/varsity red-white colorway. It uses the same black nubuck upper as the AJF 12, showcasing the iconic stitching on the side panel. The black is offset by the classic white toe. Adding its own touch, the Flight 45 has a black nubuck strap with a grey panel. Of course, the Jordan symbols are stitched in varsity red to keep to the classic theme. This shoe will release in December for $120.

These size 9 Air Jordan XII (12) Low Wear Test Samples feature a white leather (real leather mind you, before Jordan Brand went cheap with the wack stuff on reissues) upper and a red outsole. The shoe has “TWO 3″ stitched into the tongue underneath the laces and a gold lacelock to secure the strings and create some flash. This Air Jordan XII (12) Low is a Wear Test sample, and will probably never see the light of day on shelves. Which is a shame, really.

After months of anticipation, the Air Jordan 11/12 Countdown Pack can now be confirmed with the Air Jordan XI (11) Black / Red and Air Jordan XII (12) Taxi. The tenth Air Jordan Countdown Pack consists of the “Bred” Air Jordan XI which is made up of the signature black, true red and white color scheme. The “Bred” Air Jordan XI is paired with another great sneaker, an Air Jordan XII made up of black, varsity red and cement grey.
