Last retroed in 2004, the Air Jordan XII “Playoffs” is set for a return this Spring and now we finally have a good look at the kicks.

The quality of the materials looks to be spot on with these. The kicks retain their classic look with a tumbled black leather upper alongside pebbled white leather for the mudguard, a white outsole, silver “Jumpman” branding along the midsole and the usual white and red accents throughout. There are a few minor differences between these and both the OG and 2004 retro such as the use of a red Jumpman on the outsole/toe area in place of black, a lighter shade of grey on the shank and additional hits of red on the heel pull tab.

You’ll have a chance to pick up a pair come April 21.

After an unreleased sample Air Jordan XIV from the “History of Flight” exhibit hit ebay last week, the same seller is back with the “History of Flight” XII.

Also sporting a tumbled white leather upper, these feature a red outsole and lining alongside black laces in what could have been a Chicago Bulls “Home” colorway if they had ever been released.

Rocking an obsidian leather upper alongside a white mudguard, sole and laces, the shoe is finished off with hits of french blue on the lining, heel tab and branding. A must-have when they dropped back in the day, this retro will probably retain that tag come June.

Set to return in a number of colorways this year is the classic Air Jordan XII. While the upcoming “Obsidian” and “Playoffs” have both been seen before, this will be the first such release for the “Cool Grey”.

Releasing this May, the kicks sport a grey suede upper alongside a white accents on the leather mudguard, outsole, laces, and hits of orange throughout.

An Air Jordan XII is dropping in 2012 and it’s not the previously seen “Cool Grey”.

The Air Jordan XII “Obsidian” is making a comeback in Summer 2012.  This marks the first time the shoe has been dropped since its original release, thus pleasing many sneakerheads and Jordan fanatics.  We had previously seen a couple of sample images of the shoe alongside a “Playoff” XII sample and the “Cool Grey” sample, but this catalog image is the first true confirmation we’ve had of the release.
