In addition to the upcoming Air Jordan VI “Olympic”, 2012 will also mark the return of the Air Jordan VII “Charcoal”.

Last seen as the so-called “Raptors” as a part of the Sixty Plus (60+) Pack in 2009, the kicks were originally released in 1992 and retroed in 2002.

No word yet on whether these will see a predominately black upper with minimal charcoal hits like the OG or if they’ll look similar to the “Raptors”.  Either way, this is sure to be one of the most highly anticipated releases of 2012.

Last year, Jordan Brand blessed us with pictures from the Air Jordan Legacy Collection, a display of all Jordan signature models 1- 2010 in the University Blue/White and Black colorway. Now, the Air Jordan 7 (VII) For The Love of The Game ‘FTLOTG’ has resurfaced in a promo sample. For those who may not know, the collection and this particular pair pays homage to Micheal Jordan’s roots and passion for the game.

The Air Jordan 7 ‘FTLOTG’ Promo Sample features a smooth and crisp university blue nubuck upper and white outsole – very clean! At this time the promo sample has no release date, but you can only imagine what it would like if these did release. Would you purchase? Our friends over at Sole Supremacy have found yet another pair of Air Jordan’s that have made their way out the production factory with an error that some may have never noticed… myself included.

The last error we ran across were a pair of Air Jordan XI Retro ‘Cool Grey’ that had both Jumpman logos facing towards the toe box, something that has only been done on OG and ’00-’01 Retros. Today we have a look at the Air Jordan VII from the 60+ DMP package… notice anything off about them? If you said the ‘23’ patches on the heel were both facing the same direction, then you should take your talents to JB’s China Factory and take lead as the production line Quality Control Specialist.

Usually releases that have errors such as these make their way straight to the outlets or at the very least are marked as a ‘B-Grade’… In this case, they made their way to a retail store.

With all of the ongoing issues with Jordan Brand quality, don’t you think it’s time they start investing at least a fraction of the consumer dollar towards insuring those of us who camp, save and spend our hard earned dollar get exactly what we deserve… “Quality basketball products inspired by the greatest player ever.”

The 4th shoe to join the Air Jordan Premio Bin 23 collection will be the Air Jordan VII. This Premio features a White tumble leather upper, with a Black mid sole and Red/Green appearing on the AJ VII’s signature angular midsole. Next up to join the Air Jordan x Pantone 248 collection are the Air Jordan VI and VII. Jordan Brand first presented these at the Jordan Brand pop-up shop at Atmos for the World Basketball Festival. The collection was made to tell Jordan’s story and love for the game of basketball, now we have detailed shots of the shoes which can be seen after the jump. Jordan Brand has comfirmed that the AJ III retro ‘White Cement’ will be releasing Spring of 2011, and now JB has just comfirmed the AJ VII retro ‘Olympic/For The Love Of The Game’ will be releasing August 7th. The AJ 7 ‘Olmpic/For The Love Of The Game’ are just like the Air Jordan VII ‘Olympic’ colorway but with an updated change; on the lateral heel, you will see a golden basketball heart logo – a logo first seen on the Air Jordan IX ‘For The Love The Game’. Besided the logo, these stay true to the original ‘Olympic’ colorway, check out more pics after the jump and let us know what you think.
