Images of a sample pair of one of the most popular OG colorways of the Air Jordan VII, the ‘Bordeaux’, surfaced on the web this week. Needless to say, they’ve got a lot of people excited. Since making its debut in 1991, Jordan Brand has yet to re-release the model, despite rumors of its inclusion in the 7/16 Countdown Pack. Keep in mind that these are only samples, but they’re certainly a welcomed step towards the possibility of a new release. Air Jordan collectors rejoice! It’s been seventeen years since this original sample was produced, and somehow it finally showed up after probably being moved around a few times. The Air Jordan VII (7) 1992 Original Look See Sample has surfaced to show our eyes what could have been a staple pair of 7’s. The og pair of jays has a white leather upper and varsity purple suede accents, along with red, black, and teal to contrast the white midsole. The shoe has a white tongue and purple heel tab to match the rest of the shoe. Hate it or love it, this one of one sample is in the hands of fellow NT’er HipHopCaliber and won’t likely be moved around for a while now. Check out more pictures after the jump.

This weekend is gearing up to be a srong one for the Air Jordan camp, as the brand is set release three unique pairs of the Jordan True Flight. The performance shoe is reminiscent of the company’s timeless Air Jordan VII (7) as it employs a reinforced upper much like MJ’s seventh signature did early on in the 1990’s. This particular version of the True Flight employs suede along the middle panel and toebox for a luxurious appearence, and is accented by red and graphite along the midsole and red stitching on the upper.
