Rare Air Jordan samples have been popping up left and right as of late, with this white/gold Air Jordan V being added to the mix.

Created for the 11/3/06 wedding of one of Jordan Brand’s executives, the kicks sport a white upper and black midsole alongside gold detailing throughout.

Last week we showcased an Air Jordan V custom by Proof Culture featuring a ‘Tiffany’ inspired theme.

Today we bring you even more detailed images of the custom allowing you to see all the work put into the revamped sneaker.

It didn’t come until the year 2007 where the Golden State Warriors (No. 8 seed) would qualify for the playoffs for the first time since 1994 and defeat the Dallas Mavericks (No. 1 seed) in a 7-game series of the NBA Western Conference Playoffs.

In that exciting first round Mickael Pietrus wore black Air Jordan V PEs. His version of Michael Jordan’s 5th signature Air Jordan sneaker would feature a classic black nubuck upper with yellow accents throughout the shoe including the back heel’s Jumpman logo, lace locks, and his jersey number “2″ as stitched on the side panel. Finished out with a clear sole, this would become one of a few Mickael Pietrus Jordan PE’s that we would see as he’s since departed the brand to join Chinese footwear company Peak.

With the recent release of the LeBron 9, many wondered if the South Beach colorway would make its way back into the lineup.

While the answer to that is no, there is still a demand for the colorway as shown here with these customized ‘South Beach’ Air Jordan V’s. What was once the White/ Varsity Red- Midnight Navy are now decked out in a South Beach theme colors. Every detail on the shoe has been covered, from the tongue all the way down to the bottom of the outsole.

ProofCulture did a great job with this Retro custom, even customizing the packaging.

The Air Jordan V Retro in its original Black/ Metallic Silver makeup is about to re-release for the 3rd time.

Quality is very nice on this Retro release, which is a welcomed surprise. Collar and heel padding is great and the nubuck upper is extremely soft. We are still adjusting to the blue tinted outsoles however; it gives this simple colorway a little extra flavor.
