The most recent Air Jordan cleats we took a look at were those that Jason Taylor had designed for him during his brief stint with the Washington Redskins. Today, we get another blast from the past by looking at a pair of Air Jordan IX baseball cleats designed for Gary Sheffield during his stint with the New York Mets. The Air Jordan IX made a strong comeback in 2010. Also making big moves in 2010 was the Oregon Ducks football team, making it all the way to the upcoming BCS National Championship Bowl Game next Monday. Today, we bring you a little treat by way of an Oregon Ducks Air Jordan IX PE spotted online and pictured here in a predominantly black suede colorway with few white accents by way of the Oregon “O” on the heel and the eyelets. Just moments ago, we showed you guys the Air Jordan retro III Kobe Bryant PE, and now we have another Player Exclusive to show. This Air Jordan V was made for Jordan Brand player and Denver Nugget star, Carmelo Anothny for the ’08 Olympic games. This shoe has an all White leather upper with Navy Blue on the outsole, air unit, inner linning and Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel. The date 8/8/08 can be found behind the tongue along with the American flag just under it, and the USA team logo replaces the Jumpman on the insole. Earlier this year, we provided you with a look at these Air Jordan IV PE‘s as evidence of what it means to be a member of team Jordan Brand. Last season, Carmelo Anthony was blessed with yet another Player Exclusive, one that he would presumably use more often than his AJ IV PE’s. The Air Jordan II PE’s pictured here come in a predominantly white colorway with Denver Nuggets yellow and blue accents. Of course, these sport the “Melo 15″ acknowledgement that’s commonplace with most AJ PE’s. San Francisco 49ers defensive back Dre Bly took the field against the Denver Broncos the other night wearing this never-before-seen Air Jordan III (3) Cleat Player Exclusive. The shoe features a black leather upper with varsity red cement print ’round the toe and matching accents near the laces. “DB” is stitched onto the tongue.
