As is the case with many Air Jordan releases, the AJ PHLY Legend Premier is held in different lights depending on the sneakerhead you talk to. Last year the AJ PHLY campaign included colorways as toned-down as black/white-red and as loud as faded taupe/midnight navy-white. However, this time around, team Jordan Brand has decided to continue showing Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets, a celebrated team Jordan Brand member, how appreciated he is. Pictured here is an Air Jordan PHLY Legend Premier Player Exclusive obviously designed for Melo, which is exactly how his nickname reads across the lateral ankle area. You can find slight brown accents throughout this predominantly white, tumbled leather upper. Don’t expect to get your hands on these easily, but you can look at more images of this shoe after the jump.

Back in August we showed you a pair of the Air Jordan PHLY Legend Premier in a predominantly red color-up sure to catch the eyes of most passers by. Now we’re here to show you another pair sure to jog the memories of OG Jordan fans and remind us of the Air Jordan XII “Playoffs.” The Air Jordan PHLY pictured here borrows cues from the aforementioned AJ XII such as white towards the front bottom of the shoe, vector stitching, and the black upper. Air Jordan is getting casual with the Air Jordan Phly Legend Premier, making another clean colorway for everyday wear. This time, the Phly Legend comes in a team red/sail colorway, with a red fabric upper complete with team red leather panels. It has a white toebox to match the white midsole and inner lining. The letters “AJ” are stitched on the side panel to give Air Jordan a classic logo. The shoe is available now for $95.

A few minor changes to the colorway we previewed earlier this month have really taken this version of the Jordan PHLY Legend Premier a long way. Although we’ve seen the shoe in a boot-like colorway before, the corduroy lining and Madeira/Ginger accents really bring the model to a new level of distinction. You can grab a pair now from EB for an honest $95.

Jordan Brand has still kept the Air Jordan Phly Legend releases going strong, to our likes or dislikes. This Air Jordan Phly Legend comes in a faded taupe/midnight navy-white colorway to match those beige colored blazers. The shoe uses a woven canvas material upper in faded taupe, with a white and midnight navy toebox to match the white and midnight navy midsole and outsole. Thankfully these are a simple pair of Phly’s, which shows us that JB is toning it down with the gaudy colorways. These are available now for $85.
