Phase2 is back with a look at another unique player exclusive.

No, these weren’t made for Jordan Brand star Carmelo Anthony.  Created especially for Darius Miles, this Air Jordan IX was worn during his stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers.  Sporting a white leather upper, this PE makes use of orange patent leather, sky blue accents, a translucent outsole, and features Miles’ jersey number on the heel.

New pictures have surfaced of a Air Jordan IX low sample, in a Black, White and Grey colorway. This sample is made up of a Black leather upper with Black nubuck running around the shoes upper, and a White out sole. Finishing off the shoe are some Grey accents on heel Jumpman and branding throughout. While no other information was given, there is also no word on whether these samples will see a release date. Seems like all the Air Jordans are going to have Pantone 248 make over, with the Air Jordan VIII, IX and X joining the collection. A Carolina Sky Blue nubuck upper with a White mid and bottom sole and White accent, lets not forget the Pantone 248 lasering on the upper. Today we have a look at another sample in the Air Jordan X Air Max lineup with the Jordan Vis Air CMFT 9.

Mark Smith was spotted wearing these comfortable looking hybrids at the World Basketball Festival in New York, and we now have some detailed images thanks to Sole Collector.


The Air Max 1 outsole is obvious. It’s the subtle hints of the Air Jordan IX however that make this pair of kicks quite interesting. An olive mudguard is seen wrapping itself around the base of the shoe. A mesh upper is in place with the Air Jordan IXs mid foot panel stitched on top, as well as the heel pull tab on the rear.

A couple of days ago we showed you the Air Jordan VII retro ‘Olympic/For The Love Of The Game’ and now we have detail pics of the Air Jordan IX retro ‘For The Love Of The Game’. The Air Jordan IX features a reverse color-blocking of the Air Jordan ‘Powder’ IXs that dropped in May, and includes the basketball/heart logo on the heel. These are set for a limited release with only 2,000 pairs up for grabs, so getting a pair will be easier said than done but some online vendors have begun to take pre-orders. Stick with Sneakerfiles for release info in the states, but you can also get your pair from Japan retailer kinstor.

First released in 1993, the Jordan IX “Powder Blue” is available again for your purchasing pleasure. Powder blue is splashed onto the basketball shoe’s teeth. A white body and black woven tongue are also featured, whilst black laces tie everything together. The Powder Blue IX is available now at Marquee Sole. But be on the lookout for the Air Jordan White Infrared VI (6), however, like the 2010 Air Jordan Black Infrared VI (6), the colorway reads White/Varsity Red-Black and is labeled the “Bulls” from the VI package. Also be on the look out for Air Jordan IX in White/Black-University Blue. Lastly, the Air Jordan 2010 is set to make its debut in a Black/Flint Grey-Varsity Red colorway.
