Following up the teaser image of the Air Jordan IX Oregon State PE that we showed you back in October, we now have a solid look at the kicks.

With a simple white leather upper atop a black midsole/outsole, complete with black and orange accents, these rival some of the Oregon Ducks PE’s we’ve seen.

The most recent Air Jordan cleats we took a look at were those that Jason Taylor had designed for him during his brief stint with the Washington Redskins. Today, we get another blast from the past by looking at a pair of Air Jordan IX baseball cleats designed for Gary Sheffield during his stint with the New York Mets. Often times, sneakerheads will come to terms with the probability that a favorite sneaker isn’t going to be retroed; and, the only thing we can do is remember how great a pair of sneakers looked. For many of us, that is true about the Air Jordan V “Laney,” which we took a look at some months back. Today, we get a look at this collection of images of the OG Air Jordan IX “Powder Blue-” which many initially thought to be set for retro treatment last year, until we saw production images of said Air Jordan retro IX in a lighter shade of blue. But these bad boys are from the original release date back in 1994 and remains an OG colorway yet to be retroed- would you want them to be retroed, or did last year’s “University Blue” pair do just fine?

Back in 2002, the Air Jordan IX made its imprint, with the release of several AJ IX including the Air Jordan IX ‘Cool Grey’. Today we have images thanks to red foot from SC, of a pair of sample ‘Cool Grey’ IX’s featuring snakeskin. The use of a grey snakeskin takes the place of the grey patient leather seen on the originally released pairs. First released back in 1993 the Air Jordan IX ‘Olive’ was as instant classic, the shoe also sold out quickly when it was retroed back in 2002. While some may have not seen a original pair of ‘Olives’ yet, the people at Footlocker have brought us images of not only originals, but samples of the originals. Yes, original samples of an infamous Air Jordan colorway. The Air Jordan IX made a strong comeback in 2010. Also making big moves in 2010 was the Oregon Ducks football team, making it all the way to the upcoming BCS National Championship Bowl Game next Monday. Today, we bring you a little treat by way of an Oregon Ducks Air Jordan IX PE spotted online and pictured here in a predominantly black suede colorway with few white accents by way of the Oregon “O” on the heel and the eyelets.
