Following up our brief glimpse at the Air Jordan III “South Beach” customs from Mr. Exclusive and Proof Culture, we now have a more in-depth look at the kicks.

For yesterday’s unveiling of the Air Jordan 2012, Tinker Hatfield took the stage in a special pair of kicks.

Decked out in a tweed suit for the cold NYC weather, Tinker wore a pair of Air Jordan IIIs, the first Jordans he ever designed for Nike. However, this wasn’t just the original “Black/Cement” colorway – Hatfield had on a pair of the coveted “Pit Crew”. Designed especially for Oregon’s student section at Matt Knight Arena, the kicks include “Pit Crew” branding as well as a yellow Oregon “O” on the tongue and duck feet on the heel for the school’s mascot, Puddles.

Following our closer look at the “Pit Crew” Air Jordan III, we also have another look at the player exclusive Oregon “Home” colorway.

Similar to the classic “White/Cement”, these feature a forest green outsole alongside tongue “O” branding with Puddles’s feet once again adorning the heel.

After dropping at the beginning of the college basketball season and available to only a select few, we now have our best look yet at the “Pit Crew” Air Jordan III.

Made available exclusively to select members of the Oregon Ducks student section, the kicks are largely identical to the classic “Black/Cement”. However, these replace all of the standard red accents with yellow and also feature “O” branding on the tongue, Puddles’s feet on the heel, and “Pit Crew” detailing on the lateral panel.

Undoubtedly one of the coolest Jordan releases out there, you probably won’t be getting your hands on these anytime soon.

Mache is back with maybe his best custom yet.

Following up the Kanye-inspired Air Force 1 comes this tribute to the Dave White x Air Jordan 1 “WINGS For The Future”, this time in the form of an Air Jordan III. Sporting the same exact colorway and makeup as the Air Jordan 1, this custom III rocks black, red and white alongside the signature starburst graphic.

First seen back in September, we now have another look at the Air Jordan III Oregon “Home” PE.

Standing in contrast to the “Pit Crew” colorway in a more Matthew Knight Arena-appropriate look, these sport the same basic look as the “White/Cement” originals, with a green “O” replacing the Jumpman on the tongue, embroidered duck feet on the heel, and forest green accents throughout.

Laced up by some of the Ducks’ ball players, the Oregon “Home” PE Air Jordan III won’t be landing on store shelves anytime soon.

With the Concord Air Jordan retro XI craze in full effect and even heightening, it could be rather easy to overlook some other Jordan Brand releases worthy of our attention (and dollars). One of those is the “Black Flip” Air Jordan retro III that drops from Jordan Brand carriers tomorrow, December 3rd. Thess will retail in adult sizes for a whopping $170 so there will be a lot of decisions to make for this always-expensive month of December.
