The Air Jordan Spizike has been one of, if not THE, fan favorite among Air Jordan hybrids- right next to the recently released 60+ perhaps? Regardless, it seems as though Team Jordan Brand is teasing us again by asking us, “Do you know?” Unless you had a hand in designing these you probably don’t know very much at all. However, this Spizike does seem to draw inspiration from three/four different Air Jordan III’s: the Fire Red, the True Blue, and both the White and Black Cement. With a lace lock that reads “Mike” and another that reads “Mars,” perhaps Team JB is asking us a rhetorical question regarding what we know about being as iconic as these two celebrities. Still, the answer to that question is also, “Nothing.” For now, enjoy pictures of what could be the Air Jordan Spizike to generate the most buzz ever.

Jordan Brand’s 2010 line is looking to be a literal slam dunk, as the Air Jordan III (3) Retro White-Cement Grey will return in the Slam Dunk Pack, a two pair release that celebrates MJ’s high flyin’ NBA Dunk Contest victories. The other shoe involved in this already legendary lineup is the Air Jordan II (2) Retro White/Black -Varsity Red. The Air Jordan Slam Dunk Pack will hit retailers sometime in 2010 for a currently undisclosed amount.

There has been much hype surrounding the re-release of the Air Jordan 3 Retro – True Blues. These sneakers were at first a rumor, but an August release has been confirmed. New, better detailed images have now been released for these classics. No major differences are noticed between the August release and the previous retro. Back in February 2009, we confirmed the rumors that the “True Blue” Air Jordan III (3) would be releasing in August, and we now have pictures of the actual sneaker to share. As most already know, this style of the Air Jordan 3 features a white leather upper with true blue accents on the mid-sole, inner lining, and lace region, while cement print is placed on the heel, lace region, and toecap. As of now, no major differences between the re-retro and the retro release can be spotted, but only time will tell how Jordan Brand decides to release this extremely sought after sneaker. Michael Jordan was at the top of basketball throughout the 90’s and his sneakers single handedly made the shoe game what it is today. However, just like Mike, Jordan Brand has a love for stepping out of its comfort zone and trying something new. Lately, Jordan Brand has been producing sneakers for athletes from various sports. Andruw Jones of the Atlanta Braves is one of Jordan Brand’s two MLB sponsored athletes. These player exclusives are based on the Air Jordan III model and feature a unreleased colorway for the Air Jordan III’s. The body of the sneaker is covered in cement print with red accents; furthermore, the crisp white tongue is contrasted by a dark blue midsole. However, what makes this sneaker unique are the rubber spikes on the sole which provide the traction necessary for elite performance the baseball diamond. A glove with a “25″ inside of it on the side of the heel is the symbol used by all Andruw Jones PE’s, including this pair. These shoes are not available for retail right now, but they might end up on eBay as many player exclusives do. Via NT.
