I disagree with what the writer below me said about Jordan Brand releasing “trash.” What could be better than combining elements from some of my favorite designs? Nothing, that’s what. I sleep quietly and peacefully every night, dreaming of what the creative masterminds at Brand Jordan can come up with next. I can’t wait until a shoe combining features from all 25 Air Jordans arrives! This one, combining the Air Jordan I (1) and Air Jordan XX (20), is white and black and red, like most of the original Air Jordans. They will release in May and cost $115.

We’ve brought you a detailed look at the “Bred” Air Jordan Alpha 1 as well as informed you that the silhouette can now be customized in a color palette of your own choosing through Nike iD. However, tomorrow marks the official release of the black/varsity red-white Air Jordan Alpha 1. It will retail for $125 in adult sizes, and will surely be purchased by many OG Air Jordanheads that can relate to the history behind this transformed/re-worked Air Jordan I silhouette. We already know some of what Jordan Brand has in store for the Air Jordan I silhouette in 2010- including a Silver Anniversary pair and some retro releases of the Air Jordan I AJKO. But we’ve seen a plethora of Air Jordan I Phat lows release over the past couple of years as well- and they won’t stop in 2010. Pictured here is an Air Jordan I Phat low in a white/green-gum colorway that has already reached select Jordan Brand retailers. The upper comes in a combination of smooth and perforated white leather, while dark army accents can be found on the ankle/tongue lining and the shoe laces. Lastly, the shoe is finished off with a gum sole that provides yet another touch to accentuate this predominantly white Air Jordan sneaker. While an official release date is yet to be announced, you can find these at select overseas retailers now for those of you who simply cannot wait for this sleek colorway.

Of course our trusted fans already know of the Black-Red/Maize Air Jordan I Phat Premier’s we gave you an early look at yesterday. Now there are four more Air Jordan 1′s revving up also for a December 2009 release. Two of the Air Jordan 1′s come in a classic retro execution- one done up with metallic silver and another with what appears to be obsidian/black patent leather. The other two are Phat Premier’s and come in predominantly red and blue colorways. How do these drops affect your thoughts on the work Jordan Brand has put into the iconic AJ I this year?

Jordan Brand has thought of the perfect way for us to stay “MOTIVIZED!” as Leroy Smith would say, by putting into production the Air Jordan I (1) Retro Leroy Smith. I mean, the man did motivate his Airness to become who he is today, so the least JB could do is give him a commemorative shoe. The Leroy Smiths feature a black leather base to go along with the black midsole, which rests atop a gumsole. The upper features colors of red, purple, and gold, to go along with the 80′s style of Leroy. The Leroy logo replaces the AJ symbol on the tongue tag to let ‘em know who’s boss. The Air Jordan 1 Low Phat – White Ostrich may appear to be just a simple white shoe, which is only partially true. The upper features white ostrich leather, with mesh side panels for ventilation, as well as a nice aesthetic touch. The “Do The Right Thing Pack”, featuring a white/metallic red and white/metallic green Air Jordan I (1) is available early on eBay. The main difference betwixt the release versions available and previous samples is the inner lining. Samples included a multicolored liner, while the release versions are one solid tone. Both shoes feature a tumbled leather upper, and most sellers have them hovering around the $110-115 range, each.
