Next month Jordan Brand will be releasing a low-top Air Jordan I Phat in a predominantly white colorway with cement grey along the swoosh. But today we get our first look at an Air Jordan I Phat in a high-top cut that is set to release in January of next year. It comes in an obsidian leather upper with cool grey accents and white midsoles. The dark swoosh also seems to come drenched in an obsidian cement pattern for some added flavor. A solid obsidian colorway, this Air Jordan I Phat will retail for $105 in adult sizes.

The second installment of the Dave White x Jordan collaboration now has a ton of detailed images for you to enjoy.

At this time there is no solid release information, however, plenty of images are available in multiple angles to help you see the amount of work Dave White put into the project. With hints of Jordan Brand’s past drawn out with the use of certain materials and the Retro themed box, this will make a great addition to anyone’s collection. While the absence of the Swoosh usually brings certain doom to the AJ1, the use of a dynamic graphic in its place almost makes the change unnoticeable.

While most of the Air Jordan retro I news right now is surrounded around the “banned” OG colorway, Spring and Summer season give women the best reason to switch up the more monotone sneaker colorways for the more varied and colorful ones. Jordan Brand is fully aware of this; and, thus, prepared the medium grey/lemon frost-white Air Jordan retro I pictured here especially for them. For those interested, you can take a closer look at this colorway after the jump, which is due in Jordan Brand retailers come June.

We’ve taken a look back at some classic OG and retro colorways of signature Air Jordan models- including some that are not yet known to be re-releasing, and others like the “True Blue” III that are. Today, we get a look at the first retro wave of the “Banned” Air Jordan I that showed up again in 1994. Of course, most of us sneakerheads know this colorway’s nickname is in reference to the fact that, after Michael Jordan debuted them on the court in 1985, they were soon thereafter banned from the NBA for violating its rules on shoe colors. Does anyone out there have an OG or 1994 retro pair still? Who out there STILL wants/needs to get their hands on a pair? Do you think we’ll see this colorway again anytime soon?

The Air Jordan 1, the shoe that basically started it all for the Jordan Brand company and “Jordan head” culture has seen tons of colorways but nothing like this pair. This is a pair of Air Jordan 1 customs, dubbed ‘Call of Duty’ due to the fact that its colorway was inspired by the popular war game series Call of Duty. Dressed in a brown tonal leather upper, with a army green appearing on the outsole, border swoosh, laces, and Jordan branding thoughout the shoe. A camo design is used by the shoes upper ankle area, giving the shoe a nice contrast to it. Sucks these will never hit stores but we got to give props to Ruben Montes or better known as MINDxBODYxSOLE for designing these Air Jordan 1s. via thefreshstock.

There has been Jordan Brand news left and right as of late. We even saw a customized “carbon fiber” Air Jordan XI that sneakerheads all over would actually purchase should the idea ever make it to mass production. But this bit of news is for those with little feet. The Air Jordan I Phat hi pictured here in mineral blue/copa-bright violet is releasing in Grade School sizes and can be found at online retailers now- (with in-store releases rumored to be not far either). Tomorrow marks the official US release of the “altitude” Air Jordan I Anodized, but the Air Jordan I news for the day does not end there. Pictured here is an Air Jordan I Phat that is releasing only in grade school sizes and is a part of the “For the Love of the Game” series. This shoe’s upper comes in predominantly hot pink with black accents, a mesh Nike swoosh, and the stitched-on “For the Love of the Game” basketball/heart logo near the ankle. These recently released from the Nike Harajuku flagship store, so a U.S. drop is imminent.
