2009 has been the year of the Air Jordan I (1). The Air Jordan I (1) High Strap was introduced and will celebrate the Holiday season in a black/black – orion scheme and black/black – voltage style. The model’s upper features textured accents, a premium leather base, and an ankle strap for improved fit. The black/black-voltage version will release on October 1 and the black/black-orion joint will hit on November 1. Both will retail for $110 and be available at most Jordan Brand accounts.

Leading up to the release of the A Tribe Called Quest x Air Jordan I (1) “Sole 2 Sole” High Strap Premium Quickstrike are two new Jordan Brand t-shirts revolving around the group’s Midnight Marauders album cover. The shirt consists of a silhouette of Michael Jordan with the signature black, red and green ATCQ design with a yellow border. Behind the silhouette are the different faces of MJ printed in black and white staying true to the look of the cover. The shirt is available now at Major in either white or black.

The Air Jordan I (1) High Strap has been making the headlines for its resemblance to the original Air Jordan I. This model doesn’t consist as much of an original colorway, but does look quite interesting. It is made up of an black upper with white laces, midsole and accents. But the best part of this Air Jordan I may be the option to remove the strap. You can find the Air Jordan I (1) High Strap in stores starting next Saturday, November 22nd.
