Jordan Brand has just released news indicating that each Air Jordan model from the Air Jordan I to the Air Jordan XX3 will be released in a “Bin 23″ colorway. According to JB, “this is where experimental and imagined Air Jordan designs, now aged to perfection, [will] finally spring to life. In essence, Bin 23 holds lost stories, resurrected by passion, that are finally ready to be whispered again. Each pair is a treasure, worthy of greatness.” The first model to hold the Bin 23 name will be the Air Jordan 2, which “pays tribute to the exquisite craftsmanship and refined style of the original Air Jordan II, utilizing a rich, supple chocolate brown leather and exquisite attention to detail in a fitting homage to the original Air Jordan II’s legacy.” All sneakers from the Bin 23 collection will also host the red Bin 23 seal. The first offering in the Bin 23 collection is the Air Jordan Retro 2 Premio. The Air Jordan 2 Retro Premio pays tribute to the exquisite craftsmanship and refined style of the original Air Jordan II, utilizing a rich, supple chocolate brown leather and exquisite attention to detail in a fitting homage to the original Air Jordan II’s legacy. The Air Jordan Retro 2 Premio, and all other offerings in the Bin 23 collection, carry the Bin 23 seal, are individually numbered and available in very limited quantities.”.

2010 will bring us the Air Jordan 2, while the last pair released with packaged with the Jordan XX1 apart of the Countdown Packs, but sat on shelves for sometime. Although not a original colorway, the Air Jordan 2 (II) White / Metallic Silver – Neutral Grey is a simple look, with each of its respective colors placed nicely throughout. It is said that in certain areas, 3M materials will reflective, but the lighting in these images do not show this. A specific release date and retail price has not been announced, but they are expected to drop sometime in 2010.

By now, most of us have heard about Jordan Brand‘s latest collaboration with Eminem which has produced a Flight Club exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 2 (II). This special release will be limited to 313 pairs, a number signifying the area code in Detroit, Michigan where Marshall Mathers aka Eminem grew up. This unique colorway features a black leather upper accented by grey and red stitching. The most interesting aspect of this sneaker is definitely the handwritten lyrics from Eminem’s songs featured on the ankle and side of this pair. A limited edition Air Jordan x Eminem t-shirt will accompany the release of this “The Way I Am” Air Jordan II. These will be available at Air Jordan Flight Club today, December 18, 2008, at 7pm EST/4pm PST. Be sure to be prompt if you’re interested in this release because they will sell definitely out quick!

Some of you might of heard that Marshall Mather’s, aka Eminem, aka Slim Shady is releasing a book called “The Way I Am”, and to celebrate the release, Jordan Brand and Eminem collaborated on this Air Jordan 2 (II) called “The Way I Am”.

The Air Jordan 2 (II) was chosen because its Eminem’s favorite Jordan model, which marks the second collaboration between Eminem and Jordan Brand. The first you may have seen is the Air Jordan 4 (IV) Encore, which was given to friends and family of Eminem.

On to the Air Jordan 2 Eminem The Way I Am, the ankle collar and toe box features handwritten lyrics from Eminem songs, and a Black / Stealth – Red color scheme. For Em fans and Jordan fans, this pair will release exclusively at the Air Jordan Flight Club online, and limited to 313 pairs (Marshall’s area code in Detroit). A special Air Jordan x Eminem T-Shirt will also be available dubbed “The Way I Am”.

Proceeds from the Air Jordan 2 (II) Eminem – The Way I Am will go to the Marshall Mathers Foundation, which helps disadvantage children in the Michigan area.
