Air Jordan I (1) Cinco De Mayo Pack - Pre-Order

We originally featured the Cinco De Mayo pack in our Air Jordan I (1) – Spring / Summer 2009 Preview, and we are now receiving word that the pack has started to select online retailers. This pack is composed of two pairs of the Air Jordan 1 which both feature colors usually usually associated with the Cinco De Mayo holiday—white, black, green, and red. The first pair from the Cinco De Mayo Pack features a black nubuck base accented by a green inner lining, a white midsole, multicolored stitching, and a multicolored Wings logo on the ankle The second pair features a similar colorway of a white upper with classic green, black, and varsity red accents. Air Jordan I (1) Cinco De Mayo Pack is set to drop on May 5, 2009, but is now available for pre-order at LTD Online.

Last weekend, Jordan Brand released three new sneakers, and this weekend will also bring a new trio of Air Jordans. On April 18, 2009, Jordan Brand is set to to release their Prom Pack which is essentially made for high school students looking for some fresh kicks to wear to Prom. The Prom Pack consists of two pairs of the Air Jordan I (1) Low which both feature patent leather uppers with thin laces and black midsoles. This weekend, the Air Jordan Dub Zero will also make its return via a new colorway which hosts a white upper with varsity red, cement grey, and black accents. As most can remember, the Dub Zero released only a few years back, and many sneakerheads were a bit surprised when they heard news of its return. As previously mentioned, the Air Jordan I (1) Low – Prom Pack and the Air Jordan Dub Zero – White/Varsity Red-Black-Cement Grey will release on April 18, 2009 for $100 and $160, respectively. Many sneakerheads have already started referring to 2009 as the year of the Air Jordan I (1) simply due to the plethora of AJ1 releases we have seen over the course of the past few months. Earlier in the month, Jordan Brand rolled out the the first installment of their polka dot series, and it is almost time for the second installment to drop. This time around, the Air Jordan 1 is being decked out in a black upper with a clean white midsole and laser blue accents seen on the stitching, outsole, polka dots, and the Air Jordan Wings logo on the ankle. These past few weeks have been filled with Air Jordan I (1) Retro Highs, but next month will see the release of a grade school model. Initially, this Air Jordan I may look like a retro of the popular royal blue style, but this version consists of lighter blue known as vivid blue with a multi-colored print on the inner lining. Originally seen on the Air Jordan VII (7), the classic Olympic color-way makes it return with an imminent release of the Air Jordan 1 pictured above. Featuring a combination of white/midnight navy/metallic silver/varsity, this Air Jordan 1 are quite interesting and appear in several different colors, a concept that the Air Jordan 1 is not familiar with. Furthermore, the words “Team” is written at the back heel. Overall, a interesting Air Jordan 1 that will sure turn some heads. Release is scheduled for September 13th retailing at $100.
