Nike’s 1World initiative pairs up some of the Swoosh’s hottest silhouettes with unlikely artists from the sports world. Manchester United middlefielder Rio Ferdinand put together a premium version of the Air Force One (1) that celebrates his love of football. The lowtop features gold heel accents that read “5″ and “V” and a corresponding “gold foil” check. Down below, Ferdinand’s creation is highlighted by a translucent midsole and outsole. This pair features a black suede upper accented by a red jumpman on the heel and a semi-transparent red midsole. This colorway includes the popular Air Force One (1) sole which provides added comfort and style. Other key elements of this sneaker are the use of the Air Jordan VI (6) tongue and the patented visible Nike Air heel unit on the sole.
