The Air Force 1 x Huarache is Nike’s newest hyrbid sneaker which combines the shape and look of the Air Force 1 with Air Huarache technology. This pair hosts a simple white on white colorway accented by an icy clean sole which is a great look for the warmer weather ahead. The second coming of the Playstation 2 Nike Air Force 1 was announced last month, but it was reported that the sneakers will be produced in very limited quantities and given to a select few. For those who missed out on the first drop, this special 10th Anniversary model has been listed online with 100% of the profits going to Jennifer Ann’s Group, a non-profit charity to prevent teen dating violence. The sneakers still feature the black and gradient upper, but this time around the sneakers are given the full patent leather treatment. Nike is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a grade school-sized white/vivid pink version of the Air Force 1. The shoe is an exercise in patent and premium leathers, but it’s the translucent outsole and “I Love Nike” (Pretentious, much?) printed underneath. And in case you missed it, the V-Day ‘09 AF1 incorporates a chorme-backed, heart-shaped lacelocks. The Nike Air Force 1 GS Valentine’s Day 2009 will be available in early February at most Nike Sportswear retailers but they’re available now on eBay.

Leading up to its release on January 16th, the CLOT x Nike 1World Air Force 1 is revisited once again for an even more detailed look exploring the features of the sneaker. The new set of images reveal a green grid pattern on the insole along with the different sets of laces included inside the “Chinese Candy Box” packaging. Furthermore, the CLOT x Nike 1World Air Force 1 also consists of a customization feature where the upper layer can be peeled, burned, torn to reveal dark brown underneath as mentioned before. Release is scheduled for January 16th, 2009 only at JUICE (Hong Kong) or ACU (China). Last week rapper Bun B gave us an exclusive interview in which he revealed his Top Sneakers of 2008. A few days later and we present yet another look at a list of great releases from 2008 as given by sneaker aficionado and DJ, Clark Kent. For those unfamiliar with DJ Clark Kent, he is a hip hop DJ, record producer and music executive. This New York native has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Notorious B.I.G, 50 Cent, Jay-Z, Slick Rick, Rakim and many others. In addition to these achievements, Clark Kent has worked with Nike designing several sneakers in the past and continues to do so with the 2009 NBA All Star Game Nike Air Force 1. Clark Kent’s 12 Pairs for 12 months recalls his top 10 sneakers of last year with two bonus models.
