Scheduled to release during the NBA All-Star Weekend extravaganza in February, the Reebok Answer XII is the latest installment in Allen Iverson’s signature series. The Philadelphia 76ers and Detroit Pistons inspired color schemes are complimented by an elegant TPU heel graphic plate that features British poet William Ernest Henley’s poem Invictus. Diminutive floor leader and Reebok frontman Allen Iverson has worn a white/blue color way of his latest signature shoe, the Answer XII, over the course of the past week. Specifically, he debuted the model on November 19, 2008 against LeBron and the Cleveland Cavs. From the images, it appears as if the outsole of the XII incorporates some sort of midfoot stability element, presumably to mitigate the negative impact of lateral forces. Up top, the shoe’s toecap is inspired by the iconic Question Mid. When technical info becomes available to us, we’ll be sure to update! Last night Detroit guard Allen Iverson debuted the Answer XII, the newest model from his long-running signature line with Reebok on the road against the Los Angeles Lakers. Toned in a simple white/red color scheme, the shoe features a prominent, Question-inspired suede toebox and translucent add-on that is carefully affixed to the forefoot and extends along the outsole. (I’m sorry, I feel like a chump for knowing next to nothing about the shoe technically–look for updates soon!) The good folks at Reebok let us know that the shoe is slated for a February release sometime around All-Star Weekend,(this is tenative; I’ve heard reports of a January drop) so be sure to check out the brand’s inventive Omni Hexride in the meantime!

It was the trade of all trades. Legendary Philadelphia 76ers point guard Allen Iverson was being shipped to the Denver Nuggets, further enchancing the talent-rich Western Conference. Secondly, there were hopes that the brazen, yet veteran guard would provide the leadership and skills necessary to make the hopeful Nuggets a title contender. The stars never aligned for the Nuggs, as they made a series of early exits in the playoffs, but at least the lightning-quick Iverson was doing it in style. Reebok blessed the Answer with an exclusive pair of his tenth signature shoe, the Answer X in a beautiful white/powder yellow/sky blue color scheme. The X was a beautifully sculpted piece of kit, as it incorporated an exaggerated CMEVA midsole, half-zipper/half tradional lace closure system, and podular outsole to impart an organic feel on-court. With diminutive point guard Allen Iverson opting to sport the Question III Mid on-court for nearly every game last season, Reebok wisely chose to produce the unique silhouette in a low top format. The shoe is distinguished by a suede toe and a ventilated TPU heel chassis to help dissipate heat. And just like every other product form RBK’s illustrious Question line, the model implements Hexalite in the heel and forefoot for added comfort and support. Expect to see the Question III Low at standard Reebok suppliers and at the brand’s official website sometime between November and December!

Also slated for release this year is Allen Iverson’s twelfth signature model, the aptly named Answer XII. The shoe received inspiration from A.I.’s two-sport past, as the Denver Nuggets guard was both an All-State point guard and All-State quarterback while growing up in Hampton, Virginia and playing for Bethel High.
